Does anyone know if the replacement third brake light assembly, or at the seal part of it is any different the the one used at the factory? Or will we be doing this again a few miles down the road?
Or did the factory just botch the installation in the first place?
Guess I got lucky for once, my salesperson got everything setup before we left with the truck. I think the Guardian / Uconnect app has limited functionality, but I do use it occasionally to start the truck when I'm on the lake and want it warmed up when we get there, also use the Send & Go once...
What Teamcook said, I'd be worried about the 10K. My wife has a practically new SUV that we drove everywhere. Bought the new RAM and I guess the new never wore off, I've hit 20,000 this year. Previous trucks I did a little over half that. We drive the RAM everywhere now, her car sits in the...
Well had it at the dealer yesterday for the water leak / stained up headliner. They say it's the brake light leaking, I had looked at the back glass and don't see any visible cracking so I tend to believe them at this point.
They ordered a new headliner, brake light assy, and the tech also...
I noticed this morning the water line on the headliner is out to about the half way point of the speaker grilles, and and on the sides it's up to the leading edge of the microphone grilles.
Now I'm wondering if the speakers are are going to be damaged as well.
Bad thing is I'll bet you when I go...
Haven't had a chance to look too closely at anything yet, rain all day yesterday, and again for a while today. Have an appt. at the dealer for 1:00 Thu., but I'm not getting my hopes up, it a large fairly large dealer for my area and the service person said they haven't heard of one of these...
Add me to the list of leaking trucks. Had some hard rain here today and got in my truck at lunch and sure enough, wet headliner. Got almost 20,000 miles on the truck, have checked for leaks before because of some of the complaints on the forum and never had any issues. Going to call a dealer...
My salesman told me before I purchased mine you have to give the tailgate a slam from right in the middle or you get that message. If I shut mine by flipping it shut from the side I always get that, even though the tailgate sounds like and looks like it shut securely.
Went to have Air 80 put on my windshield, installer said he would do it but at my own risk because of water damage to electronics located just behind/under the dash. He told me when he went into the system to cut the piece the software popped up a warning about installing on the '19 RAM.
Was...
If you have the 12" Screen you don't get the additional info in the app, but the folks with the 8.4" screen do. (Go Figure). I was hoping for an update that would enable it but nothing yet.
I always use Auto as well, general have it set at 70, or within a degree of it. Usually bump the seat fan up to high on hotter days. No A/C hack done to mine.
I've ran 89 since the second fill up, just over 10,000 miles now and fuel mileage is good. I figured if RAM recommends 89, I'd use it.
Only use top tier gas! That's probably as important as 87 v 89 octane in my opinion.
Keep us posted Gsmith223, after this weekend of Hot humid weather, something gotta give on this A/C system. 65K truck that wont' cool off is ridiculous.
After making a few runs yesterday morning in the RAM and the a/c not cooling very good, i went out and got my old Ford to do some stuff in...
Another Vote for white here. Love my tri-coat longhorns color. I've had black, grey, etc, but as others mention the darker the color the harder it is to keep clean, and the harder it is to clean it up properly to avoid swirls, etc. The wife's car is one thing but the RAM is a lot of real...
This has been discussed a lot, you can use the search and find all the reading you'll want. But here's my two cents.
I have the 3:21, I pull a 20' boat every weekend and it will almost jerk the trailer out from under it if you want it to. Runs great down the road and plenty of power to get you...
