Is it a new truck? Why don't you take it to the dealership and have them just fix it under warranty? This forum really has nothing but questions about trivial little things breaking and never anything interesting.

This sounds like it could be fixed by loosening a couple of screws and adjusting the latch striker that it locks into but I haven't looked at mine.

My 2021 limited does the same thing. Pretty sure the truck is leveling itself out. I don't think it is the fuel pump, I think it is the air suspension. I only have 1400 miles on mine and it has done it since I brought it home new.

I live in Arizona and we just got done with a week of 115 degree days. My tail end was always nice and cool in the truck. No complaints from me. It is under warranty, they will fix it.

I had something similar happen. I was backing up, there was a shadow from a parking structure that the sensors must have mistaken for a solid wall. The truck slammed on the brakes and damn near gave me whiplash because I was turned looking backwards.
