Dual battery setups for a 1500 for 12v accessories?

I haven't looked into it recently as I did something different with my trailer/truck set up for the track but at one time (maybe still) SCD IIRC was the only place making a dual set up for the DT. It was the battery, mount box , and meter but it was like 4/5K a little steep for my pocket book.

    Loading ramps

Personally I would stay away from the slamazon ones even if they are "name brand" as a lot of that stuff is even showing up as a knockoff. Look at Rocky Mountain ATV, Chaparral, or one of the other motorcycle/atv parts houses.

    No truck after tomorrow.....

I feel that, my almost 16 year old son thinks that just because I drive the twin turbo '68 Dodge Dart on the street sometimes that he can buy it from me for a daily driver. He is pretty into racing motorcycles and understands the prices and what goes into that...but I have failed to transfer...

    2wd Leveling Top Hats?

So I have a 4/6 drop kit on my 1500, some of the tracks my son and I race our motorcycles at the 4/6 is a little to low to make on to the track property (the is a whole story behind this) so I picked these up to see what it would look like 2" higher.

Front sway bar links for lowered 5th Gen?

I have yet to find any for a lowered truck, I just ordered some stuff from prothane and McMaster to hopefully have something built in the next few weeks. Its been on my list for a year but the 9-5 and race bikes have taken top billing instead.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Right on, my mom and I used to live near the corner of Garnet and Esperanza with my uncle and his chick till I was 8/9 years old that was '86/'87. Then when she married my stepdad we moved to Rancho Cucamonga. It seems like its a bit more relaxed now than it was back in the day. I stopped in for...

What did you do to your Ram today???

You weren't out around the Rosewood Park area Wednesday night by any chance were you? I took my 15 year old to California for his first time and we rode around the neighborhoods I grew up in. I am pretty sure I seen you somewhere around Rosewood or the Estrada Courts area.

    IHC Drop Kit

Dont quote me on this 100% but if I remember correctly the DS has a conventional shock/spring vs the strut/spring arrangement on the DT.

    Wireless CarPlay Adapter Question

I tried searching for it but its a pain on my phone so I am sure someone far better than me will chime in with the correct answer. But IIRC it is a fuse position for constant power/keyed on power to the ports, i.e. if the fuse is in slot 33 its keyed power but if its in 34 its constant power (I...

What's this in my cabin ceiling?

We just had an aircraft come in for a post hard landing inspection. Operator complaint was a vibrating noise in the FWD Mid Cabin section, pulled up the carpet and floor boards and found the bright orange drill guide used during the fuselage joining process. Apparently the 8 Clecos used to a fix...

Correcting rear suspension geometry when lowering 2WD

Another option would be to reach out to core 4x4 or a local chassis shop and get longer link bars, that being said I defiantly would run that as more than a temporary solution. Ideally for a DD you want to keep the link bars horizontal or a slight negative angle (front higher than rear).

    Lowered 5th gens?

24" (stock tire dia) fit even on the IHC 4/6, only issue I have had driving was the fronts hitting the fender liner on big dips at 75+ mph with the stock front struts. It does have issues getting into some of the off-road tracks around here where my kid and I race motorcycles but I am planning...

    GPS routing is terrible

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Funny story about 3 months ago me and the kid (44&15 respectively) were coming home from a motorcycle race and my phone died. So I busted out the paper map to have my kid give me directions...about 45 minutes later after explaining how to use a map and drawing a line...

    Post your lowered 5th gens

So IHC uses shorter rear shocks but then has a adapter/spacer on top. There is just enough room back there for them to work, I mean I cant take a set of whoops at 80+ (maybe I can I drove I95 from Savannah to Maryland and that's kind of like Baja) but I have yet to bottom the rears out.
