    Official Delmonico Red thread

Hadn't even thought about it; I'll check it out--thanks!

    Official Delmonico Red thread

Glad you posted those pics; I've been thinking about taking a can of plasti-dip to the RAM logo, but was unsure of how it would look IRL. Guess I know what I'm doing this week!

    Griots Ceramic 3-In-1 Wax

Ugh. Love bug season. I lived in the Tampa area (Valrico and then MacDill AFB) for 3 1/2 years--and can verify you're not kidding.

    Griots Ceramic 3-In-1 Wax

I use Griot's "normal" (non-ceramic) Speed Shine and it's pretty fantastic. I love the smell, and it's a great way of maintaining the wash/cleanliness (which you know, since you currently use a similar product).

    Griots Ceramic 3-In-1 Wax

I'm a fan of Griot's products but have been hesitant to get this very product (because it seems "too good to be true"). Thanks for the "real world" review--I'll definitely be picking this up. After it's applied, do you then use the Ceramic Speed Shine spray...

Couple of questions for current owners

This matches my experience, too. I've not used Google Maps, but Waze doesn't play well with CarPlay, IMHO. I've never had it work well in my rig.

Couple of questions for current owners

I have both on mine. 1. I personally like the 12" screen. I use CarPlay a lot, and when CarPlay is active, the screen basically splits in two; the top is for navigation or other apps, the bottom for audio control (both are configurable). I recommend getting a matte screen protector (I got mine...

    Dog hauler and dog pics

I just was hopping into this thread and noticed for the first time your question--so sorry! I really wasn't trying to be a jerk and ignore it!😕 Yep, you guessed it. Tana's a vizsla, Nemo is an English Cream Golden Retriever.

First World Problem - Squeeky Seatbelt

This literally started on mine during this morning's commute (<10K miles on the truck). Glad I'm not the only one. Following this for potential solutions. As a former mountain biker (knees are kaput, thanks US Air Force!), there's a wax chain lubricant (White Lightning) that could work. As...

    Siriusxm renewal

Tomorrow my SiriusXM trial ends. About a month ago, they started sending me mail telling me I could subscribe for $5/month. I ignored all the letters (I think I got three), until they called about 2 weeks ago. They offered $5/month, with additional channels, for the next year. To me, SXM is...

    New hitch design?!

I second this. I have the square holes for chains and I've had zero issues with hooking my chains or even my carabiner-equipped brake cable.

    Dog ramp for rear floor?

How long is that one? I'll need one to reach the seats (I don't fold up my seats, because one of my dogs does not like not being able to see outside). I'll need extra length to reduce the incline.

    Tonneau Covers VS MPG Performance

Exactly why I'm buying one--I'm just curious as to the increase (or not) in fuel efficiency. I'm kind of a geek that way. I would've loved to have been an engineer, but calculus and I do not get along well.

    Tonneau Covers VS MPG Performance

OT, but that's only true if you ignore the production and disposal of the batteries. <mutes thread>

Mopar Paint Protection Film. Worth it?

Honestly, I haven't looked into the Mopar PPF, but the 3M/VViViD films sold on the Jungle-themed web store are priced pretty reasonably and have a good reputation.

    Tonneau Covers VS MPG Performance

I installed my running boards a couple weekends ago and haven't noticed increased wind noise.

    Tonneau Covers VS MPG Performance

I would add if any of us are trying to maximize fuel economy, we should've gotten in line to buy a Tesla.

    Tonneau Covers VS MPG Performance

The study posted by @JBowman above says that the advantage at "normal" speeds is only about 1-2%--so I doubt any of us would notice an MPG gain after installing a cover.

    Tonneau Covers VS MPG Performance

Guess I'll have to re-watch the video myself. It would've been really sweet had they had access to a wind tunnel to see the air behavior in and exiting the bed.
