Ugh. Love bug season. I lived in the Tampa area (Valrico and then MacDill AFB) for 3 1/2 years--and can verify you're not kidding.

I use Griot's "normal" (non-ceramic) Speed Shine and it's pretty fantastic. I love the smell, and it's a great way of maintaining the wash/cleanliness (which you know, since you currently use a similar product).

This matches my experience, too. I've not used Google Maps, but Waze doesn't play well with CarPlay, IMHO. I've never had it work well in my rig.

I second this. I have the square holes for chains and I've had zero issues with hooking my chains or even my carabiner-equipped brake cable.

How long is that one? I'll need one to reach the seats (I don't fold up my seats, because one of my dogs does not like not being able to see outside). I'll need extra length to reduce the incline.

Exactly why I'm buying one--I'm just curious as to the increase (or not) in fuel efficiency. I'm kind of a geek that way. I would've loved to have been an engineer, but calculus and I do not get along well.

Honestly, I haven't looked into the Mopar PPF, but the 3M/VViViD films sold on the Jungle-themed web store are priced pretty reasonably and have a good reputation.

I installed my running boards a couple weekends ago and haven't noticed increased wind noise.

The study posted by @JBowman above says that the advantage at "normal" speeds is only about 1-2%--so I doubt any of us would notice an MPG gain after installing a cover.

Guess I'll have to re-watch the video myself. It would've been really sweet had they had access to a wind tunnel to see the air behavior in and exiting the bed.
