Glad you posted those pics; I've been thinking about taking a can of plasti-dip to the RAM logo, but was unsure of how it would look IRL. Guess I know what I'm doing this week!
I use Griot's "normal" (non-ceramic) Speed Shine and it's pretty fantastic. I love the smell, and it's a great way of maintaining the wash/cleanliness (which you know, since you currently use a similar product).
I'm a fan of Griot's products but have been hesitant to get this very product (because it seems "too good to be true"). Thanks for the "real world" review--I'll definitely be picking this up.
After it's applied, do you then use the Ceramic Speed Shine spray...
I have both on mine.
1. I personally like the 12" screen. I use CarPlay a lot, and when CarPlay is active, the screen basically splits in two; the top is for navigation or other apps, the bottom for audio control (both are configurable). I recommend getting a matte screen protector (I got mine...
I just was hopping into this thread and noticed for the first time your question--so sorry! I really wasn't trying to be a jerk and ignore it!😕
Yep, you guessed it. Tana's a vizsla, Nemo is an English Cream Golden Retriever.
This literally started on mine during this morning's commute (<10K miles on the truck). Glad I'm not the only one. Following this for potential solutions.
As a former mountain biker (knees are kaput, thanks US Air Force!), there's a wax chain lubricant (White Lightning) that could work. As...
Tomorrow my SiriusXM trial ends. About a month ago, they started sending me mail telling me I could subscribe for $5/month. I ignored all the letters (I think I got three), until they called about 2 weeks ago. They offered $5/month, with additional channels, for the next year. To me, SXM is...
How long is that one? I'll need one to reach the seats (I don't fold up my seats, because one of my dogs does not like not being able to see outside). I'll need extra length to reduce the incline.
Exactly why I'm buying one--I'm just curious as to the increase (or not) in fuel efficiency. I'm kind of a geek that way. I would've loved to have been an engineer, but calculus and I do not get along well.
Honestly, I haven't looked into the Mopar PPF, but the 3M/VViViD films sold on the Jungle-themed web store are priced pretty reasonably and have a good reputation.
The study posted by @JBowman above says that the advantage at "normal" speeds is only about 1-2%--so I doubt any of us would notice an MPG gain after installing a cover.
Guess I'll have to re-watch the video myself. It would've been really sweet had they had access to a wind tunnel to see the air behavior in and exiting the bed.
