    Laramie Fog-lights

My first car was an '88 cadillac brougham. It had extra lights in the fenders in either side that came on when you turned. The first day I picked my truck up iI hadn't yet used the fog lights so I noticed this feature that night. Really cool little throwback to 80's luxury car nostalgia for me...

    SprintBooster

I guess so, I haven't tried one so I really don't have anyway to judge that. I used to run tuners in my mustangs, but those added HP too since I had intake and exhaust work done as well. Changed timing and fuel delivery as well as throttle response. I always wondered how much of the added zoom...

No CD player in my 2020 1500

I had a 1998 camaro with the changer in the back. I remember pulling over to change CD's on longer trips, lol. I hear what you're saying, I did the same thing, went all digital, but it was cool to play some of my old discs and hear the tracks that never made it onto playlists that I had...

    SprintBooster

Not trying to be a naysayer here, but all the sprintbooster does is effect throttle position, it doesn't actually add any power or anything. Why pay all that money when you could just put your foot down a little more? Am I missing something here, or does it literally just give more throttle...

How many are passing on 2019 deals for the new 2020 diesel option?

No HVAC issues with mine. No issue with the Big Horn 2019 loaner I had last month either. Wouldn't just testing the AC during the test drive rule out this issue? It's certainly not widespread enough to rule out buying any Ram product and change brands entirely... Also, I turned down a 2018...

Who's To Blame? (Truxedo Tonneau Cover Problem)

Not the best pic, but all I have at the moment. Installed about 6 months ago, no issues so far. Keeps 99% of the rain out and for the price it cannot be beaten. It can be set just about level with the top of the bed rails, I have it installed up a bit for more clearance in the bed.

    Official Delmonico Red thread

The wife snapped a picture as I was getting the boat on the trailer. Looks like something you would find in a Ram Brochure, lol.

Sales Tricks while you're sitting at the desk...

This! I spent 3 full days driving all over new england trying to find the best deal that I could. I was a stickler down to the penny, which is great if you have nothing better to do, but I dragged my wife and 2yr old around with me which wasn't fun for either of them. I decided on day 3 of...

    Lease Negotiated Selling Price

January I leased my Laramie. I'm paying $569 a month for 3/36k. I put nothing down, actually rolled $500 of negative equity from my last vehicle so I think I did okay. My buyout at the end is $27,500 give or take. I wasn't planning on doing it this way, but I got myself into a nicer truck than...

Love that Sport Gold Metallic. Here's my old '98 Camaro that I had back in the day.

Picked up Limited off lot with mold - need thoughts

That is absolutely not acceptable. Bring it back, park it on their lot, cancel your financing ASAP. Get a lawer's name and contact your local news agency and get info from them as well. Go back to dealership and ask to speak to the owner, not the salesman, not the sales manager, the owner. Show...

    Does Delmonico Red show dirt?

I agree with SpeedyV, the Delmonico Red is pretty average with showing dirt. Not as bad as my white 4th gen was.

Who's To Blame? (Truxedo Tonneau Cover Problem)

You said you were going to return yours and find another vendor. I thought that it would be helpful to send you a link to the one that I purchased since It worked so well for me. Apparently it was not helpful...

Who's To Blame? (Truxedo Tonneau Cover Problem)

I have the proroll low pro cover on mine. I like the look of the low pro covers. I have a few drops that get in with heavy rain, but I have not gone back and checked the clamps once since I put them on, I didn't even measure when I installed it so things are probably not perfectly square and...

Difference between similarly equipped Limited and Laramie ?

Trade in value.... No matter how much you spec out a laramie, its still not a limited. My buddy just ran into this issue trading in his 2017 F350 lariat ultimate package diesel. He and another friend of ours traded in the same month, our other friend had a king ranch with the same options and...

    Fuel Tank Size

I just put 24.2 gallons in my tank this morning. Hemi without etorque crew cab short bed. Pretty sure I don't have the 23 gallon tank or I guess my evap canister holds an extra 1.2 gallons. My 4th gen had the optional 32 gallon tank and my gauge read accurately from full to empty. Min was...

Dealer offing to swap my truck out, should I do it?

I have a laramie configured basically like yours but without the etorque and I would have a hard time making that decision as well. That said, I love the Rebel and having the 12" screen would be awesome. See if they will go to 3k down and jump on it. Seems like you arent happy with what you have...

Gas mileage v8 without Etorque..... 4wd

I averaged 24mpg on a recent long distance hwy trip at a stead 70 -75mph hand calculated was within .5mpg of that so the computer was pretty accurate. Was very impressed with that number. I'm averaging around 16.5mpg per tank at home with 70% of that being city driving. I'm at 7k miles now. I...
