I had the same clunking issue and also had the transmission software flash performed. Made a big difference in how the truck drove. That was about 6 months ago and no issues since with those areas
So because cancer exists we aren't allowed to be bothered by anything else? Seriously? No one ever can complain about anything anymore? There's cancer so all your other problems don't exist! Could you be more of a simpleton? That is how you are justifying telling us we can't be upset, because...
Yes, I can back him up on this. it is absolutely ridiculous to have to reach over and clear my screen while driving almost every single day. It's not safe and its extremely annoying. Why are you here arguing with people about something that doesn't affect you at all?
I will also second that the...
Wait a little longer. my truck gained 2-3 mpg after about 4500 miles. I have 3.21, but get over 24 highway on longer trips and average about 17.5 overall with 70% of that around town.
It's only the 8.4 Nav units that are having the issue. My wife has the older 8.4 unit in her cherokee and my phone works fine in there. The results so far are that I'm still having the problem and the Uconnect case manager calls me every week to tell me that they still do not have a fix and I...
Oh look, this joker is back again. Thank you for the edmunds review, now go buy the soda can bodied, minivan v6 powered mini truck known as the f150 and leave us alone. Enjoy spending more money to get way less of a truck.
"presume to know when you do not" "comfort of your recliner" "hold your tongue" "at least a tiny shred of proof" "be prepared to be made a fool of."
Who the hell talks like this in real life?
This troll doubling down on his troll like tenancies...keep it up buddy, it's forum gold. You got...
Guys, the OP is a troll plain and simple. Listen to the way it's worded. Stop responding and let this die. No one makes an account on a forum just to list negative aspects of the vehicle that they aren't planning to buy anyway. This is someone at Ford trying to get yet another long thread going...
Same answer I just got regarding a separate issue. My advice. Deploy the boards every night, have a dead battery every morning. They will lemon law the truck after 3 or 4 separate trips to have it fixed. Problem solved.
I finally heard back from Uconnect/FCA customer service. Exact wording was "Unfortunately, at this time, our only option is to wait for a software update for your radio." They are acknowledging the issue, but admit that there is no fix for it at this time. I have been waiting since JANUARY 2019...
Only getting 20mph with the 3.6? Glad I got the 5.7, I averaged 24mph over a 1200 mile highway run at 72mph. The only reason I would consider a 3.6 is if they were practically giving it away, because that's what you'll have to do when you want to trade or sell it. The resale is horrible on V6...
First call to FCA corporate today, They will look into it and discuss what was done with the dealer and get back to me. I also started looking into CT lemon law. I have used that in the past, I don't want to go there, but I will if FCA refuses to fix the problem. I'm not messing around with...
They did not replace anything at this time. There is a software issue with this unit and my specific phone as per what they say. It is B.S. because it did the same thing with my old phone and my phone works just fine in my wifes Jeep and in the many loaners they have given me over the last year...
Update: Finally got the truck back after almost 2 weeks in the shop. There is no fix for this issue per FCA. They did every test they could think of and escalated the case, but they just said that I have to wait for an update which is what they have been saying since I bought the truck. I'm not...
