it's a nice way for you put all the cards in their hand instead of yours. All it does is tell x dealership that you want a car and gives them all of your information to contact you.
The problem you have is comparing a 3.21 lighter truck with regular tires on it. Your rebel has more weight, off road at tires, and different gearing. all that said, you aren't doing too bad. I have a laramie with 3.21 and basically no options so my truck is relatively light. I averaged 24mpg...
No no no, you are missing the point here. HE GETS MONEY BACK, HE DOESN'T PAY ANYTHING.
He would get back about 80% of his down payment and any payments he made on the truck. So instead of PAYING 15K he gets back 80% of what he already paid.
Hence why i said just get an attorney, I would rather...
Lemon Law, no offense to Ramcares, but they can't do anything to get your truck fixed for you. I've been having an issue for almost a year now with my Nav8.4 unit and no one at FCA/Star/Ramcares/Dealer have done a thing about it. I used an attorney to lemon out my wife's suv 2 years ago. One...
They take into account that you may actually be using this truck as a truck so a 5 or 6 gallon reserve equals what most cars 2 to 3 gallons would be. I can also double the range left after the light comes on most of the time if I'm feeling lucky.
It's a flat no from me when they try to add that suff on, I don't care what the discounts are, i'm not paying anything over the price of the truck and taxes/reg. In CT they have a "conveyance fee" usually between $295 and $495. I negotiate that off the price of the vehicle.
But almost no one is looking for a fully loaded limited with the V6. A Tradesman, sure, a big horn, maybe, but a laramie or a limited, no way will hold the same value as a V8 truck would. %MSRP is relative, you can also buy a V8 for that price or better with the number of them sitting on lots...
They don't stock V6 trucks for the same reason they don't offer a manual transmission anymore. Yes, Some people will want those options, but they stock what they can sell the easiest. I was a die hard manual guy, but the last truck I was able to buy with one was my 2007 F150 and then you could...
I was trying to point out that finding a number somewhere in the middle is best, no point in arguing over 2 or 3 psi when the weather alone can change it more than that. I go higher and assume that it will average out. I agree that 32 would be too low though, I always go higher than posted. The...
I have the 20" duelers on mine. Truck says 36psi. I run mine at 39 Cold @50 degrees F. When the temp drops below 20 my tires are at 34 and when it rises to 60 degrees they are around 40-41. Seems to be the sweet spot for the crazy New England temperature swings I get living in CT. For anyone...
I feel that a tonneau cover is a must have and decent floor mats. Both could be ordered from the factory so I could be happy with a completely stock truck. I used to mod like crazy, but I'm getting sick of spending all that money every time I buy something new. My next truck will be 100% stock...
Exactly. That is B.S. especially at the price point these trucks are at. If they would do that right in front of the customer, imagine how they treat the vehicles behind the scenes. I wouldn't trust that dealership at all and I would let them know on my out why that is.
Sorry to hear that, the time wasted getting a rental and dealing with insurance and a body shop is the worst part in all this.
While we are venting, I'll add this. About 2 months ago my wife and son were at in intersection about 1/2 mile from home. A drunk guy in a red pickup cuts across her...
are you sure it's pinging and not lifter noise? they can sound similar at high rpm. obviously oil would not cause pinging, but it can cause lifter clatter...
How many miles and what oil is in it? It's NOT the fuel. I switched from 89 to 87 8,000 miles ago and have had zero issues with knock. 87 is not the culprit. But, my truck had noisy lifters with the factory break-in oil in it. I did an oil change at 2k miles and then again at 4k miles and it...
I had a similar issue, was the battery. They did some "super charge" to it and it's been fine ever since. I never heard the snap, but had a dead truck a few mornings in a row.
Still using too many commas and periods and question marks. You really have a problem with punctuation. Also, opting out would be you not responding. You can't respond while also saying you are opting out at the same time, doesn't make sense, right? Guess I would be mad all the time if I had the...
