Thanks everyone! I've decided to go with drop-in for now and ordered Pendaliner (the only drop-in I could find in WA at this time that doesn't require weeks of waiting). I will pick it up from the shop and install over the weekend, and share my initial impressions.

Thanks. That is a con of Line-X - it scratches the cargo. E.g. I put a cabinet without the package and secure with tie-downs. Drop-in bedliner is smooth plastic (while still skid-resistant), so I don't need to worry about that.
