    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

The AC kit left me with about 2” of rake still with factory springs. So with ORP springs youll be around 1” of rake. I havent driven enough to left the suspension settle some to take another measurement. And that is also going with floor to fender measurements. I haven’t measured hub to fenders yet.

    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

When you do just the mopar lift and regular front springs, the supplied UCA’s will do fine. Even with a .5” top hat spacer since its not really .5” in thickness but gives .5” in lift when you measure it. When you do the mopar lift with ORP springs, the supplied UCA’s will be at their limit as...

    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

Tires Monday or Tuesday. Im blown away with how the Foxes are tuned. Its a huge improvement over stock. I have 2” of rake still, which is fine since I often carry things in the bed. I plan on getting Timber grove air bags and will install a .5” strut spacer at that time.

Well it looks like I’ll be joining the club soon. Dropped the truck off for install today. Should be done later tonight or early tomorrow morning. Then tires probably Saturday (if they are open) or Monday.

Yeah it happened within the last couple of days. I couldnt find anything online about anything changing. Every search goes to the AB kit.

    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

It was $1350 USD. But I used a 15% off coupon from mopar so with tax it was $1312.24. I called around for install and my main dealer I go to for service said it would be $1100 for install (alignment included). The dealer I got the truck from said $169/hr and it would be 2-3hrs. Plus 129 for an...

    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

So I went to go order the kit for my truck today and I gave them the part number 77072424AB. On the printout they gave me it was 77072424AC. I looked it up to see if there was a difference and couldnt find anything online. They showed to have 1 kit in stock but ended up not finding it so I wasnt...

    Thuren Tuned King Shocks

I had asked on the Carli owners group about the release and basically they said they wanted to try out one more thing for the rear springs. If it works, they just need to fine tune the shock valving a bit. If it doesnt work, everything gets ordered. Commuter valving is done. Just in queue with...

    Thuren Tuned King Shocks

Im going to get the mopar 2” lift for now and wait to see what Carli will offer in a couple months to compare. Im coming from a 2012 2500 so if its anything like the tuning for those trucks, it will definitely be a huge upgrade over stock. For thuren I plan on getting stage 3 up front and stage...

LUYED LED- New (Frugal) LED Reverse Light.

So from what I gathered for the LUYED wires, red to reverse and black to ground? I didn't even think to test it before and already did all the wiring for the lights. Its ready to be plugged into the curt harness once it gets here. If I have to, I’ll just do it over lol

    Ordered front Fox 2.0

King and fox have coilovers for 6” lifts. For the rear you would just need to measure to see how much longer of a shock you would need. These would be off the shelf shocks and not be custom tuned/valved. Well, they will be valved for the 1500 but it will be a generic valving which could leave...

    Ordered front Fox 2.0

The 09-18 kits are 2” front and 3/4” rear. If the 2019+ kits are also 2”, I’m going to put a .5” spacer up front and maybe a 1” in the rear. They test them in a bit of everything to have an overall improvement over stock. The fox 2.0s will be tuned for the street while still offering more than...

    Ordered front Fox 2.0

Carli should be coming out with their kit within the next week or 2, at least according to their instagram posts. If the kits are priced similarly to the 09-18 kits, it will be $1,937 for fox 2.0s front and rear, rear track bar drop bracket, rear coils, rear sway bar end links. They will also...

    Bed length advice

Ive had a 6’4” bed on a 2012 2500 the past 6 years and I can count how many times I actually needed the bed. I knew before I went 1500 shopping that I would eventually be getting a 16-20ft trailer to haul the longer loads so that it would be a problem with the 5’7” bed. So it will come down to...

MPG effect of 3.92 rear end

I knew when I got the 2019 I was going to be lifting it and going with 34-35” tires. That was the main reason why I got the 3.92s. Second reason is for the “legal” towing capacity. I drive a 2015 1500 with 3.21s at work and it cant move out of its way fast enough for my liking. It just didnt...

    Accessory light switch mounting locations

So Ive been looking around to see what mounting solutions were out there for the switch pro 9100 or similar options. I havent come across anything until I just saw the 5th gen pro clip phone/tablet mounts. Im thinking I can use the vent mount proclip and just run the wiring in a way to where it...
