It should throw a CEL if it is continuously running rough from bad fuel. OP did a CEL show? How bad do you mean by it is running “rough?”

Had Lasfit and they gave me issues for the third light with fob. I returned snd bought diode dynamics and have no issues. Few months latef Lasfit supposedly changed their 3rd braks light and have no problems.

I bought a 100k bumper to bumper third party warranty at dealer cost for $1200. I believe you will deal with the extra warranty so little I don’t mind a little more haggle to save $2k as everything’s still covered to replicate factory.
