Ziebart in Bloomington does ceramic paint coating, but I do not know about wheels. They did my wife’s SRT Durango. They are getting my truck next week, but not going to have ceramic done again as it is twice the price of their diamond paint protection.
The huge discounts on the price do not hurt either. Buying a truck which has a newer design and more cutting edge tech than Ford or GM at a lower price is a recipe for success.
Yeah it happens. The thing I liked about it was you could load on top. I hauled a new washer drier for my wife on top. It was pretty convenient with the built in tie downs. Even had ramps and put my ATV on it.
But even I thought there was a better way. After I sold the truck with the...
My last truck was leaking in from the shark fin antenna...not that bad, but could be another intrusion point. Without a sunroof, it could only be windows or antenna. Should be an easy fix for the dealer.
When I had my Diamondback, it folded up in the front and the rear. You could access the majority of the bed. Only the center section was hard mounted. You could actually unhook the struts and fold the entire cover over on top of itself too. The best feature was that, if you had something...
I was going to wait. My truck is meant to do two things...drive on long hunting trips where extra mileage would be good and idle for long periods of time with HVAC running for the dog, which is another diesel forte.
But then FCA decided I needed a truck now. They must have sat around and...
What is everyone so worried about? I have an old 5.9 Cummins and I have never known one to not squeak the belt on shutdown. It is the sound of excellence.
“Oil leak? What oil leak? That is just sweat from all that horsepower.”
I do not have another Ram to try it with, but to my eye those are the only mechanical differences. There ate obviously wiring differences as there is a second tailgate latch and when the barn doors are open the bed lights come on. I have not check to see if the tailgate open warning comes on...
The guys that are putting on my shell (ARE CX) are also putting in a 3 outlet 12v power block. I am planning on putting in an inverter myself once that is done.
If you are getting a shell, they will have to pull power back for 3rd brake light and interior lights so you can tie into those.
Definitely not competition for a Power Wagon as it has no front locker and no winch. I could forgive the sway bar disconnect, but to compete for off-road king, it needs front and rear lockers. The winch is the icing on the cake.
I do not have any problem with what you are saying. When there is a problem, it should be fixed. There is no doubt about that. I am not letting anyone off the hook...I have no hook.
What is true is that some people have issues, unfortunately some of the same people have multiple issues...
This is also so true. I always tell people it is a marvel that vehicles are as reliable as they are nowadays. They are technological feats which rarely go wrong. As opposed to a house, which is just a collection of sticks and needs a Menards trip every weekend to fix something. At least the...
This is so right it is like the forum gospel. Are some people experiencing significant problems, sure. Are some people experiencing minor problems that need corrected, sure. Are many people experiencing minor problems or no problem at all that are getting blown out of proportion, absolutely...
Boy I am hoping the topper I ordered works. I assume it will as the only impact should be where the clamps can be used to hold it in place.
Certainly the tonneau companies will come up with solutions shortly.
