Not sure, but I certainly wouldn't use a lower octane rated fuel with that motor. Definitely look for 91+ in the future. I think this is one of the first HO to report the CEL.
Similar problem. Happened three different times in 5500 miles. I found that if I move my phone away from my fob, it starts. Don't know if that is correlation or causation.

Oh if it had only been that simple. It also had a failed center console, so it couldn't 'move'. Had to have the part shipped from Germany to repair it.
Do you have your phone near your keys? I noticed that sometimes if my phone is in the same hand as my key, the ignition will not start. But when I put my phone about 1' away, it is fine.
As for the hissing sound, is it the electric pumps cooling the turbos? Those will run for a bit sometime.
Different strokes for different folks, I don't think I've checked an oil dipstick in 20 years of changing oil on all my vehicles. I'm more concerned that dealers apparently don't know how much oil motors take.
Don't they have to do a NHTSA assessment on every variation of powertrain in a model - if so does that cost, and associated EPA evaluation costs, warrant the number of sales they'd possibly get?
