Finally have a minute to sit down and detail out the final deal I got from @AnthonyRI at Mark Dodge. Ordered a 2025 Limited Longhorn 4x4 on 1/25 and locked in all the rebates I could at the time plus paid a $1,000 non-refundable deposit. Picked it up on 3/28 and went with the rebates at time of...
2025 RAM 1500 Limited Longhorn 4x4
Diamond Black
Trailer Tow Group
Bed Utility Group
Limited Level A
Dual-Pane Sunroof
Multi-Function Tailgate
Ordered it from Mark Dodge on January 25th, took delivery on March 28th. I absolutely love the interior. My last truck was a 2022 Limited so pretty...
No haggling at all with MD. Anthony has a post on here where he spells out exactly what their discounts are and they stuck to that. Super painless process and totally transparent with no funny business at the end or any high pressure sales tactics for extended warranties or anything like that.
The tread lightly discount works with any truck as long as you buy from a dealership that chooses to honor the discount; not all dealerships will. You also have to be a tread lightly member for at least 30 days before you can get a discount code.
I just got my 2025 Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn...
Ya, pretty normal for most dealers to not know what rebates apply nor how to really apply them… at least from my experience. The two emails you got won’t both work, you’ll need to pick one to use. The conquest should work with the email rebate. The other rebates depend on not just location, but...
I feel for you. I actually wanted to order a Limited in Granite Crystal last October; finally gave up and ordered in black in January when I realized I needed to get a new truck already. Now mine's built and I'm crossing my fingers it shows up before I need it at the end of this month 🤞
Might be worth remembering the Hurricane powertrain has been in use in the Jeep since 2022. So new to the Ram, but not completely new. Mostly what I hear people complain about would really be integration issues with merging the “new” stuff into the “truck” stuff that didn’t exist in the Jeep.
$4k private offer? That’s awesome! I got $1k a week or so ago, maybe need to try again. My new truck is built and on the train headed to MD now so I could sure use it.
I placed a factory order a few weeks ago. My truck is currently in production; at the body vendor (whatever that means). When I ordered it was cheaper to order then buy off their lot, but that may have changed. You should call Anthony at MD and just ask him. He’s super friendly, easy to work...
When it happened to me it was especially cold (for central Texas) and had been for several days. I suspect weak battery plus cold is what got me.
I’ve observed the start portion of my auto start is happening noticeably faster now than it had been the last 6 months or so. I can’t say that I...
Last summer I had an intern who accidentally ran over a hole and sheered off my passenger side running board. The running board was fine, the motor was fine, the hinges just broke. Turns out the hinge can’t be purchased without the motor, it’s sold as a single part (probably because it’s press...
I had a similar issue last week, auto stop worked and then auto start didn’t work when I took my foot off the brake. The instrument cluster also started complaining about low volts on the 12v battery and watching the voltage gauge the 12v the battery was not charging once I got going. I didn’t...
I’d give Mark Dodge in Lake Charles a call. They told me they’d deliver up to 250 miles. I’m in Austin which is more than that so we’re going to meet up halfway.
I live in the Texas hill country and my 22 has probably spent the majority of its life in 4 Auto. I’ve found even on dry roads many of our intersections are such that AWD is much preferred for jumping out into traffic. We get some very oddly banked intersections and curves out here.
Anthony over in the Mark Dodge forum posted about it.
