Tons of good info on this thread. My stock tires are just about shot. After following this thread I will probably go the 275/65/20 route. Seems like there should be zero issues with rubbing with the ORP equipped big horn if I am reading this all right. About 2" bigger tire. I was thinking...
That is the stock size for the Off-Road package. I don't think they look silly level small, but they for sure don't feel the wheel wells. I am going up in size for this reason.
Yeah, I don't do any serious off-roading, so just something to deflect something from bouncing up is all I would need. I seen in that other post people were basically making there own. Probably the best route.
Seen people mention removing the dam takes away some of the engine bay protection. Anyone looked into doing a bull bar with skid plate to get more protection?
When I bought my camper this is exactly what they threw on my truck. After using them I would throw them on any truck I buy. Way easier to hookup the chains.
This is exactly what I am looking to do. Anyone have a long term report on this setup? I eventually would like to do the level kit, but I am going to need tires before that.
Thanks!, I actually found a 3rd party company that sells aftermarket tow mirrors that are heated. I ended up just buying the little spot mirror and slapping that on for now. I will probably order the heated ones more towards next fall.
So i lost part of my passenger mirror the other night. I am struggling to find the right part numbers. I found the whole mirror assembly, but I really don't need the whole thing. I was going to just order the spotter mirror, but the plastic part that it clips into is busted. I would rather...
Timber Groves and i opted for manual. I measure hitch height and then hook up to my trailer with the weight distro system. Then toss in air till it's almost level. Honestly as light as my trailer is I really don't need them, but tweaked right they smooth out some bounce.
LOL, I just called to check on when my backordered parts would be in. ETA of 45 days. I got a float trip that i am taking my camper too in July. 5hr drive each way. Could towing with cracked manifolds hurt anything? My camper loaded is not super heavy, but the wind drag makes the truck have...
My 2019 came with the Falken Wildpeaks. Overall been really happy with them. 29k on them and they are holding up well. I haven't done any major offroading, but felt like they handled the snow pretty well.
Confirmed, both manifolds are cracked on my truck. Parts are on back order. 28k miles on a 2019. Dealer tried to act like this was not a common issue, but when i came back to pick it up another guy acknowledged that it was a common issue.
Makes me glad i did the extended warranty, just sucks cause i got 200k out of 2 Toyota's each literally doing general maintenance. You would think they could get this resolved.
I am not 100%, but i think i am about to join in on this issue. I swear my truck cold start has gotten louder. Just haven't had time to jump out and listen. 2019 with 28k. Seems like even the 2021 still have this issue to right?
