I tow a 2021 Grand Design Imagine 2600RB. It's a 29' 8" trailer with a 5785lb dry weight. Loaded, per CAT Scale, is 6300lbs with a 835lb tongue weight. I've been averaging 8.5mpg while towing in mostly hilly areas. I sure do wish I had gotten a truck with the 33 gallon tank.
Can anyone who has or did have these tires from the factory tell me the correct cold PSI? My truck apparently came with 275/65R18's from the factory, because that's what's on my tire and loading information sticker inside the door and the window sticker. I am the second owner and I assume the...
First, I noticed a mistake in my post. I got the STEER axle to within 20lbs of unloaded weight with my WDH, not the drive axle.
I'm pulling a Grand Design 2600RB. It's 29' 8" long.
I would also get the 33 gallon gas tank if I had it to do over. I have the 26 gallon tank and like bucolic...
Same... I don't know how some are getting in the 20's. I average 18mpg when not towing. 50/50 city/hwy and max of 80mph on highway. My best tank was 19.4mpg strictly highway.
Stock 20" Bridgestones running 36 psi.
I want to echo what IvoryHemi said about the tires. I have a 2019 Laramie 4x2 CC 5.7 eTorque with the 3.21 rear end and tow a 5785 dry weight TT. I weighed the rig on a Cat Scale this weekend and my TT loaded with all our gear and supplies weighed in at 6300lbs. The calculated tongue weight...
I noticed a crack on either side of my sliding window a day or two after I purchased the truck CPO back in January of this year. The truck had 14,700 miles on it. I didn't see any obvious signs of leaking, so I didn't look into it further. Well, we had an ice storm here the second week of...
I have the Airlift 1000HD bags too. Makes a huge difference, along with my WDH, towing my 30ft travel trailer. However, don't leave more than 5 psi of air in them when not towing. I was driving around all last week with about 7-8 psi in them (air gauge I used is off apparently) and noticed a...
