I'm not going to let them fix it. I'm going to remove the excess adhesive and touchup the paint myself. I know I can do a good job. The dealership was very apologetic and gave me a paint pen.
The glass company has good reviews and I've used them before and have never had a problem like this...
Had my back glass replaced yesterday by a local glass company. They didn't mess up anything on the interior, but they scratched the paint in several places and left excess adhesive in the upper left-hand corner on the outside. Why is it so hard to find people who give a crap?
Now to see if...
I bought my truck CPO in January with 14,800 miles and the average mpg showed to be 14.7 from the previous owner. Don't know if he towed often with it or just had a lead foot, but my average when not towing is 18.2 with 70% of that in town. I can usually get the overly-optimistic computer to...
My dealer ordered my back glass on 3/9/21. Tuesday, I called them to check the status. It's been at the dealer for about a week they said. Turns out the service advisor who ordered it no longer works there and his replacement was trying to catch up on all his open tickets. Wonder how long...
Based on my last four non-towing fillups, I'm averaging 18.56 mpg with 70% in-town driving.
Best mpg I ever got strictly on the highway with just me and one other person and some light luggage was 20.6 mpg with a max of 80 mph. That was on 87 octane though. Haven't taken a trip since I...
I came from a BMW 3 Series and I don't miss people wanting to race me either. Also, I hated being in traffic and couldn't see over the larger vehicle in front of me. Now I can!
My Laramie is also a good bit quieter inside than my Bimmer.
I always calculate my mileage that way. I even keep a spreadsheet, becuase I'm a nerd. I guess my point was that the Fuelly average (14.6 mpg) in my signature is accurate over the entire time I've had the truck. Total miles driven divided by total gallons pumped. Well, Fuelly is showing the...
My in-town driving has a lot of traffic circles, so there's not all that much stop-n-go type driving. When I do stop, the eTorque system shuts the engine off. My long trip freeway driving usually gets me about 19-20mpg at 75-80mph.
I am pretty impressed with the mileage I've been getting. When I bought the truck in January, it had 14,800 miles on it and the AVG MPG for the life of the truck was only 14.7. I've managed to get it up to around 19. I use 89 octane and I don't know if that makes much, if any difference. I...
What I want to know is if there is a way to make the top and bottom accent LED's bright like they are when remote start is active. When the headlights are on, they are dim. When you deactivate the DRL's, in the daytime, they stay on and are slightly brighter (I think) than they are when the...
I used the power folding function on my F150 several times a day for 3 years and never had a problem. Same with this Ram, although I've only owned it for 3 months. I plan to continue to use them though.
I love using those when passengers are with me who don't know about them. "How are you changing the volume?" or "How'd you just change the radio without touching anything?"
I have owned Weathertech and Husky Liners and in my opinion the Weathertechs were slighly better. They just fit better. For my Ram I thought I'd give these a try: https://www.amazon.com/oEdRo-Floor-Compatible-2019-2021-All-Weather/dp/B08FWX4JGW/ref=dp_fod_3?pd_rd_i=B08FWX4JGW&psc=1
They are...
Thank you! We love it too. It is our first travel trailer and we researched it to death before we bought it.
My payload is 1494lbs and it just me and the wife. We weigh just over 300lbs together, so there's plenty of payload left.
Thank you!
My normal cruise speed was around 55-60 with a max of 65 and that mpg average was from northeast Louisiana up to central Arkansas and the return trip. It's pretty hilly. Though I could have sworn it felt like it was up hill both ways, LOL!
I'm not getting much if any sway with my WDH dialed in correctly. I had a Husky something or other at first. I never could get it to feel right with it. Couldn't get my front axle loaded back the way it would feel safe. I was at 3/4" to 1" lift in the front and not enough weight. So I drank...
