Are you sure? I hate to question someone who has obviously done this, so I apologize. But I will be drilling holes if my truck if I need to make room for 6 more screws than everyone else.
Neither here nor there, I will start with the two, and see if I can reuse the ones that are already there...
Are the two additional screws only for trims with the fender flares? I have the big horn that does not have fender flares, and I am trying to figure out if I need the two extra screws.
Thanks!
Good evening everyone,
I was getting some bigger tires installed today, and when they had the wheels off I noticed some rust behind each one. Given that it was on all 4 hubs, I assume this is normal...however it just seems that there would be material used on the truck that would show any...
Glad to be a part of the Billet Silver club. By far the best color!
I leveled the front a couple weeks back, and today I put on some bigger tires. I went with the 275/60/20 to help fill out the wheel wells a little bit. Really pleased with the results. Drives great. Looks great. I don't get off...
I had mine installed two weeks ago, and I now have about 100 miles on them. I love the ride and really cannot tell much difference between these and stock. Mine were also set to #5, giving me about 1-inch of rake. The only change in the ride that I notice is that since my front end is a little...
I am really pleased with it. I ended up on the #5 setting, which on my setup gives me an inch of rake. I don’t mind the rake given the lines of the truck. It looks level if you’re looking at the body of the truck. The new ride is great. I’ve posted some before and after photos below.
For the reason as pointed out by BigJZ, and that which I saw on some other posts, the lines of the truck are designed for the rake, and look high nosed when leveled. I went with the #5 setting. It gave me 2” versus the published 1.7” (though it may settle a bit). Lines of the truck make it look...
My biggest fear is to come out of there nose high, which has me a little concerned. At the same time, I don't want to lift it to setting #5 (1.7-inches) and still be 1.3 inches from level.
Is the math literally, how much difference is there between the front and the back height, look at the...
Well, I’m getting my fronts replaced with the 5100s tomorrow morning, and I wanted to make a quick effort to confirm what setting I wanted for a level. I’ve read this entire thread, multiple times, and I was pretty positive for a NON-ORP vehicle such as mine, #5 was the consensus for the...
Interesting. You're making me second guess which setting to have installed on Wednesday. Do you have same setup that a previous member on the "Bilstein 5100" thread was dealing with in that his springs were firmer thus a lower setting was required for level?
Seems like everyone else who wants...
I just scheduled my appointment to drop my car off on Wednesday to have 5100s installed on just the front. Going with setting 5 for a level of the truck. I’ll post before and after shots when done.
Wheels and tires will have to follow soon after. Struggling to decide between the Terra...
I received my struts today, and all I need now is to get them installed. Where have most of you guys (that do not install yourself) take them to have them installed? Is the install easy enough for a basic repair shop to do the install, or do I need to take them to a 4WheelParts store and pay...
I am also having this issue. In both my headlights and my fogs. Pretty heavy in the headlights. Not as bad in the fogs. I am going to touch base with my dealer and see what they come back with. Truck is 6 months old. Never have had a car with this issue.
Do you have Navigation? My biggest frustration is that I changed my guidance volume down to level 1 (from level 15), but whenever I restart the case the setting stays at what I set it at, but the voice goes back to level 15. As a result, I have to go through the multiple step process to toggle...
Hey everyone, what is general consensus on the need, or lack thereof, for the Hellwig endlinks? If it makes a noticeable difference, I can see that it would be worth the extra $100. If not, I will be thrilled to apply that sum of cash to another project on the truck.
This thread has convinced...
Firebird, did you request that the installer not do the panels on the doors? Mine were all done as a part of the Katskinz set provided to the installers to match the seats.
