I tend to notice the same, but not 100% sure that's all there is too it. Too many other factors like wind, ethanol, and drive patterns to be sure. At ~600 mile range (33 gallons), each tank sees a lot of variation.

KBB and NADA can help with diminished value also. You can get a value both ways (with and without the accident history). I'd still do what Neokane suggested though.

Same here. I realized a few weeks after I installed mine that there were no pads there (mine has the rubber bumpers on the feet also). I remembered reading about them before I ordered mine, but assumed it was a redesign.
