Anyone running V6 etorque w/ aftermarket tires?

It has been about 2 weeks now that I put on 33" tires with after market wheels. I hover around 21.5 mpg combined. Conclusively, it will decrease your mpg by at least 1-1.5 mpg. This is my daily driver, so my result is formed from 45 minutes of highway traffic one way, 45 minutes of highway...

    New tires

Upgraded the tires and wheels on my V6 Big Horn (3.21) with coil suspension. Replaced the stock 275/65R18 with 275/60R20 Falken Wilkpeak A/T3W and 20" Fuel Rippers. Its only been a couple weeks, but went from averaging roughly 22.5 to 21.5 mpg. Speedometer wasn't much different, but went ahead...

    V6 & Air Suspension

I personally have had no issues reaching the EPA 24 mpg highway on long drives and 21 mpg combined ratings. I documented a 140 mile highway trip where I sat in 40 minutes of traffic, and I still was able to average 25.3 mpg. For quick reference; Big Horn, 4x4, coil suspension, 3.21 axle ratio...

Are Nitto Terra Grappler G2’s worth the extra money?

If you're wanting the all terrain look that ride smooth, check out the Nitto Ridge Grappler or Hankook Dynapro AT2. Seem to be well liked here and both are available in 305/45R22.

Are Nitto Terra Grappler G2’s worth the extra money?

From what I gathered on this forum, the Nitto Terra Grappler G2's have a lot of road noise and may not be optimal for your situation of street and highway driving. Correct me if I am wrong, but can't you reuse your stock tire pressure monitor sensors? Could save you $179 if you can get the...

Anyone running V6 etorque w/ aftermarket tires?

I plan on getting some 33" tires soon, for science purposes of course. Looking at 275/60R20 Falken Wildpeak AT3W, since they are closest to my stock Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude's rev/mi, paired with 20x9" Fuel Rippers and Rough Country Speedometer Calibrator. I will report back, for science.

    Falken Wild Peak AT3 ?

Thank you for your reply. This is likely what I will go with since it is cheaper and closer to the rev/mi of my stock Goodyear's than the 275/60R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler XL.

    Falken Wild Peak AT3 ?

Is there a high risk running 275/60R20 Falken Wildpeak AT3W (115 max load rating) on my Big Horn 4x4 with standard suspension? Stock tires it came with are Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude HT (116 max load rating). Someone on this forum has done it before and mentioned his Ram came with Bridgestone...

    Change from P275 55r20 to either P275 60r20 or go to 18 inch wheels w/P275 65r18

They look great! Are your Falken's SL 115T load rated? I don't see an XL or E on their site in this size. I was told the minimum load rating was 116 and you could risk a tire rupture with anything less.

    Fuel Economy numbers posted V6

It seems I may be in the minority here, but I have been pleased with the fuel economy I have been getting out of the V6 (3.21 gear ratio). Here is my trip today from Sacramento to San Jose (California). Filled up with 89 octane and reset the display right before I left. 140 miles averaging 65-70...

    Amp Research Bed Step

Mopar Bed Step 82215289AF. You can't notice the Mopar step either, except the foot press tab that barely sticks out to extend it. Imo the Mopar looks cleaner than the AMP step. Both are pricey (paid $330 after tax and shipping). Mopar's packaging is atrocious, but the step is heavy duty so...
