I don't use mine. If I'm going far enough to matter, I plug into USB so I can use Apple CarPlay.
If CarPlay would work over Bluetooth, I would probably use it.
Another vote for the Mopar mats. Fortunately, my truck came with them (it was snowing when I bought it). Wife's CRV has Weathertech. They are nice, but not in the same league as the Mopar mats.
One other thing to note.... I see you have a Laramie, so you most likely have the rear underseat...
I think the paint on the studs has gotten better on later builds due to feedback about the problem. I was surprised at how little paint I had on mine after reading about the problem here. That said, I still used a die (the bracket kit for my steps came with one).
You may get by with just...
I've noticed this as well. I have lower back issues and keep the lumbar at max setting on about anything I drive. While less than I normally like, I've made a few road trips and been quite comfortable.
My bigger seat complaint is the width between the side bolsters, especially on the seat...
Is this still holding along the top edge of the tailgate okay? I'm installing mine tomorrow and thinking of doing the same. I have a Lomax cover and am concerned that the extra thickness will interfere with tailgate operation. The YouTube video by RealTruck shows this as an alternate way to...
Swore I'd never own an FCA vehicle..... Was shopping for a 2018 GMC Denail...... Only ended up test driving one truck (for less than 10 minutes)..... It's now sitting outside.
I guess you could say I liked them right away.
I live in Iowa (almost as flat as ND) and had similar thoughts. After a trip to the Ozarks over the weekend, I discovered it just comes down to how steep the hill is. It went into ECO as long as I was under about 75mph as I got into the hilly region there. I assumed that was the limit, but...
I did the same to my son's Lincoln LS, only I put it in the power steering reservoir. The entire engine compartment in that car was covered with this pretty (non-functional) black plastic shroud that just had fill caps sticking up through it (also all black). I used a suction pump with a long...
I see you haven't gotten any responses.....
Mine does the same thing, only with the passenger seat., and only with the recline button (in either direction).
Anyone else??
I saw TuxMat on another thread today. I'd never heard of them, but they looked pretty nice and were getting positive reviews.
Mine came with the factory slush mats. I'ts been a mess here (Iowa) since I bought the truck. I've been pretty happy with them..
My truck is identical to your signature. It was pretty easy just laying on the floor. I broke down the box the boards came in to lay on. There are no obstructions under there that you have to work around.
Chasing the threads takes a lot longer than installing the boards. You can turn the...
B&W also makes a 5th wheel that attaches to the turnover ball socket. (called Companion). It does add considerable weight though and will push the payload capacity.
I'd never heard of Demco. That looks like a good option for a 1/2 ton, as it appears to be lightweight.
I think it implies that the base level HVAC system was installed in trucks with a 12" screen (that should have been matched with something higher than base level), meaning there is no way for the 12" screen to control the HVAC system because they're not designed to work together.
Edit: It...
Decided on the classic Bedrug. Ordered it today (and a Lomax cover). I won't use the bed for much. when I do, this will probably be more suitable.
BTW, I got them from Truck Alterations. I got a great price on both (less than I found them published or discounted anywhere).
I'm a little surprised that the pedals can be adjusted while driving. About an hour after I drove off the lot with my previous truck (F-250), I was rolling down the interstate pushing buttons and found that one. I was testing the range of the pedals running about 80mph, not realizing that 1) I...
How easy is the bedliner finish to clean? I just installed a set of DeeZee louvered boards that are textured powder coat. I'm thinking of having them sprayed, but I'm a little hesitant because of how they will clean up.
From the manual (emphasis mine)....
Heated Steering Wheel — If Equipped
The steering wheel contains a heating element that helps
warm your hands in cold weather. The heated steering wheel
has only one temperature setting. Once the heated steering
wheel has been turned on, it will stay on until...
