My truck as 35k miles and the bumper is still in pretty good shape. I'm actually surprised how good it still looks. It has about 4 or so good sized chips and several smaller barely noticeable ones. I just used some Dr. Color Chip and from a couple feet away you'd never know it had and chips...
Add me to the list. Truck is 2.5 years old with 34k miles. I'll probably take it to the dealer and let them screw around and get the bolts out since it's under warranty. Once I get it back I might go ahead and replace the factory bolts with SS.
Tried the heated mirrors for the 1st time today in my new to me 21 to clear moisture. The passenger side cleared in a few minutes but the drivers side didn't. So I left the heat on the 30 minute drive to work. The drivers side had maybe a tiny bit of heat to the touch and the passenger side...
Got my window replaced but noticed the next day while putting the bedcover back on they scratched the cab in 2 spots.
The scratch above the window I should be able to polish out, finger nail doesn't catch on it. However the scratch on the side is much deeper. I can probably polish enough that...
We have a problem with them too. The year before last I got 12 of them. Last year the neighbor got about 20 of them. So far this year I'm only seeing a few running around but they multiply quick! Probably should bust out the trap again or use the 5 gallon bucket method. I wouldn't mind them...
It was between the Tyger Blade and the Go Rhino and the blades were on backorder. With being impatient and all I went with the Go Rhino. I do like the Go Rhino but I've tossed around the idea getting the Tygers to see how they fit and then listing whichever set I like least on here or...
Here's the go rhino RB30 slim. I would've liked if they tucked tighter to the cab. Also I definitely wouldn't go anymore narrow. Overall I like them and got a pretty decent deal on them. If it wasn't for kids I likely wouldn't have put any boards on.
Mine will be getting replaced in a couple weeks under the bumper to bumper. It took a few weeks to get the glass. It appears they are having a national chain glass company do the work, I was hoping for a local glass company in town as I think they do pretty good work. I did ask the service...
Waiting for my window to come in so it will be fixed under warranty. I wish they would've let my go with the non-slider. I'll just keep an eye on it and when/if it leaks again I'll likely pay out of pocket for the non-slider. A guy at my work has a 2019 and says it doesn't leak. So maybe...
Picked up my son a 4x4 slash for xmas. We plan on doing some dirt track races this summer. For now he's been bashing it around the yard. Some how he just broke a front drive shaft and bent the shock. So I need to head back to the RC shop to buy some parts or find a good online store. Also...
Getting my window replaced under bumper to bumper warranty. The service adviser said they had to order a part, I said a new window? His response was, no a window frame. Don't think he had any clue what was getting repaired. The service ticket says new window frame and a window shop to come...
The below post on Facebook shows an aftermarket window option. I don't know anything about but I haven't seen it posted here yet and thought I'd share. I have a very minor leak on the passenger side and it's going to the dealer later this month since It's still under warranty.
Edit: added a...
I don't have the noise but I did notice that once the system is turned off there's no air coming through the vents at all. So it must go into recirc mode.
So basically it seems the only way to get fresh air is to have the A/C off and the temp setting below the outside temp. But I guess this...
I just bought a used 21 and now have 30k miles. There's quite a few small chips, not noticeable unless you get close. However there are 5ish chips that I plan on using touch up paint on. After that I'll be getting some PPF put on the bumper and likely the leading edge of the hood and under...
Yep I cleaned around the area where the light mounts. When I pulled the light off I didn't see any signs of water leaking around the light. I didn't think to look at the inside of the window frame while I had the light off. I have an appointment at the dealer, 4 weeks was the earliest they...
The new and improved light came in today and the seal definitely looks much better. Unfortunately I still have a small leak after putting the new light in. So off to the dealer I go to see what they say it is but my guess is that I'll be getting new window.
I'm in the same boat on trying to figure out what to use as a first timer. I just bought a 2021 in granite crystal and it has some minor swirling but it looks awful at sunset when the light hits it just right.
I've just about settled on a G9 and to use 3D Speed or 3D One. Seems like people...
