If I had to guess something more went into the demise of the wiring harness than the addition of 1 amp from the new LED bulbs. Actually a 60 watt equivalent LED is going to pull less than the original bulbs IMHO. I would check for a short or grounding issues.
trailer have surge brakes? have experienced this where the weight of the trailer will apply the surge brakes on the trailer while trying to back up a hill...just a thought
Have the 8.4 Nav on mine and love it...had thrown around the 12" but read about it being quite glitchy and didn't want that. I do a fair amount of towing and wanted the benefits of the e-torque setup so went with it and have had no issues so far at all.
This will happen every once in a while for me after a quick stop with the truck shut off but I have found that doing a full uconnect reset and reboot (holding both the volume and tune buttons in for 10 seconds and then letting them go) will always get it right back going...annoying yes but at...
Have you retried doing the "service brake" procedure again on the computer with everything together...thinking this may reset the system but only a guess
Short drives like that voltages in mid 13’s is what I’d expect…longer drives say of an hour or more you will see voltages tapering down

Well I’m not going to say anyone is lying but as the system was explained to me and throughout my research makes sense so I am not concerned with how my truck is operating.

How long was your drive? Mine will stay in the mid to high 13’s during short cycle driving say of 30 minutes or less but will then begin to taper off. I have done a lot of research on the etorque system as well as having talked to senior techs who do know the proper operation. I always want to...
Way I understand it is that basically everything in that etorque truck subtract the initial startup on the regular starter is basically running off the 48v to 12v converter during normal operation. An unused battery can only take so much charge while the truck is running. Mine has pretty...
If your truck has been sitting for a bit in between starts and the battery has had any parasitic discharge you will see a higher charge voltage for a bit while the system is recharging the 12v battery then it should taper off to between say 12.6 and 13.2 volts...if you have the auto-start...
The 12v battery system is only used for initial starting and running accessories in the truck. All subsequent auto start/stop starts are coming off the 48v system. Also the "alternator" that everyone is referring to isn't putting out the voltage you are seeing on your dash. It is putting out...
My truck locks automatically every time the remote start is used. I thought this was just a part of the remote start...now I also thought though that the truck would never lock with the fob in the truck though so that this could not happen.
As others said if you press and held the set+ button for say 2-3 seconds you would have increased your speed potentially 15-20 miles per hour. To change smaller increments single presses will increase only 1 mph at a time...saying that I love the 5 mile per hour increases when speed limits...
