One more update, and in usual dealer fashion, when there's more than one problem, they take care of one and somehow just ignore the rest even when you give them a list via email, and then walk them through it in person. They said they flashed the ECU to fix the downshifting shudder and the front...
Just an update on this - the truck is now at the dealer to get looked at. My last 1000km/600miles I have averaged 21L/100km, or 11.2mpg, which is almost exactly half the manufacturers rating for combined city/highway driving. Fortunately, the dealer themselves didn't hesitate to acknowledge that...
This is very interesting. I recently picked up a 2020 limited that had an air links lift, likely 2” in the front with 3/4” in the back. I wasn’t impressed with the ride even coming from a 4” RC lifted fourth gen, so I put the stock links back in - still rides as rough with stock tires as my...
If you go back to my first post in this thread (#1667) I say what I'm looking for. I did not dismiss your information, I simply said that I already acknowledged what you said in my first post here (I know EPA ratings are always off so I take them with a grain of salt) but again, a 30% delta...
No need to get emotional or argumentative, I'm just another Ram owner looking for useful replies/advice from other Ram owners. Scroll on if you don't have anything useful to say.
Yep! That’s why I said I never take those numbers seriously since every truck varies, and then went on to say that I don’t believe a 30% difference is reasonable.
I know it’s a truck and not a car, hence my post not complaining about me not getting car mpg. My point was that getting 30% below...
Just adding my two cents to this thread. I have a 2020 eTorque Limited, only modifications are a tonneau cover and D-load 275/60/20 K02's. I've only had the truck for a few weeks so I've never experienced the truck in the summer on summer gas, but on dead flat ground doing 110kph/7-mph, my truck...
Icon has a 1.5” lift coil I believe with an accompanying shock I believe. They’re digressive though so are better for hitting rough terrain hard compared to absorbing highway expansion joints.
If you’re looking for an okay budget option, bilsteins will work. They’re essentially an adjustable OEM replacement with height adjustment. If you want quality and prioritize ride quality then go with BDS or Carli.
