I had this on my last truck. There was transformer on a pole I’d go by and, poof, no CarPlay. I ended up replacing my media hub and that solved it. Must be a shielding issue.
I’m actually adjusting slower than I anticipated but I’m anticipating a lot better. Damn if I’m not getting 20+ mpg right now average so I don’t want to complain.
Also, you can drop the current Uconnect connection and reconnect the phone and refuse wireless CarPlay and use a cable. Or, plug the phone in before you start the truck and it will connect via cable. There’s less lag with the cable as well.
