Ordered 2/9
Status 2/26 F
I guess it won’t be long now? They said it should be ready to ship in the next day or so. That’s a lot faster than I thought it would be.
About 5-6 years ago all manufacturers were supposed to go to the “J” standard and Toyota was the only one to follow it so what they state compared to everyone else was correct. I average 12-12.5mpg on my Tundra without towing, but I also have a constant weight of 600+lbs in the bed of my truck...
I agree with you that it shouldn’t happen in just a few weeks and I know what I am seeing here. I have owned a leather/vinyl repair business for 20+ years. There is no polymer that you speak of. The vinyl is ripping from the seams (and that vinyl is weak) and as I said before the only true...
How big of a boy are you? That is a high stress area on any vehicle and you should avoid sliding in and out of the seat. You are correct that the vinyl is tearing at the seam and the only true repair is replacement.
It has nothing to do with being a fan boy as I don’t even own a Ram yet as it’s on order and this will be my first. I have owned a leather repair business for the last 20+ years and with a 125lb German Shepard I can guarantee you had damage on your last truck also. I see it all day every day on...
Dogs and leather is a no go. Think about this for a second, leather is a skin, a hide. Not much different then your own skin. When your dog jumps up on you he can leave a scratch on your skin. Leather is no different. Especially if you have perforated leather it makes it much easier to get a cut.
My buddy just got a preowned 2016 limited that still looks brand new and I was really impressed with it. I love my 2013 Tundra with 105,000 miles on it and I have never had any problems with it. But after seeing these 2019 Rams with the 12” screen I had to have one. They are like the Tesla of...
So here’s a question. I carry about 600+lbs of constant weight in the bed of my truck for work. I was thinking of adding the 3.5” readylift sst kit and also adding HD coils in the rear. The HD coils say they add 2-4” of lift themselves and the sst kit adds 2”. I’m wondering if the HD coils will...
My buddy had a new head unit and subs installed in his truck (not a Ram) today at a local audio shop but while he was in there he was talking about the 19 Ram and that it did not have wireless CarPlay. They told him there is a module that they can install to make it work wirelessly. Has anyone...
I agree. I singned a buyers order today for my truck. I could have spent $5k less on a Laramie, but I wanted the advanced safety group, specifically the adaptive cruise control. While the 19 speaker HK system may sound nice. I don’t really need anything else in the lvl 2 group. But I told myself...
Great clarification on this. During my test drive I was kind of like “whoa this isn’t right” when it happened. I guess when I get my truck I’ll have to use the switch to get the setting I want until this is fixed.
Thanks for the replies fellas, I appreciate them all and understand this is a decision that I need to make on my own. The only thing in the Laramie that is on the lot ready to go with the level 1 group would be missing is:
Bird eye view with front camera (which I really want)
Adaptive cruise...
I don’t have a Ram yet, but when I test drove one the other day the lights were on auto and it got dark enough for them to come on and the 12” screen and gauges got pretty dim. A lot more dim than I thought they should get. I did turn the switch up and down to make the gauges brighter, but is...
