Totally get that. Although you might want that recall closed if you take your truck into the stealership for any service or other warranty work. So far they've performed 3 recalls on my truck without even mentioning it until I picked it up. You might forget that recall is out there, take it in...
Agreed, I wouldn't interrupt one unless it was really necessary for some reason. This last time, I was unfortunately not checking the torque app when I shut the truck down, and realized I'd interrupted it when I stepped out of the truck and smelled it.
The ED will show a "continue driving"...
I think I replied to you on the other EcoDiesel forum? but for those that don't know...
My understanding is this; When you go into an active regen, then shut the truck off in the middle without it completing, the Torque app pegs the DPF level at 100%.
It will remain there until the next active...
Thanks for the response. That is kind of what I was expecting. Not in a big hurry at this point anyway, the majority of my driving is on 2 lane country backroads where it isn't of much use. Occasionally though, I do load the family up for a highway trip, so it would definitely be useful on those...
Just spent the last couple days slowly reading through the whole thread, and this is the first I've seen this mentioned, but also something I was concerned about.
I have a 2022 Limited Longhorn and received the ABS recall. My understanding is this may require a software flash of the ABS unit...
I have 285/70/18 Toyo AT3's on TRX beadlocks with no spacers, and have a full 3/4" between the tire and UCA. I had considered 295s, but was concerned with clearance. In hindsight, they would have cleared and still left 1/2".
I'm pretty sure not all 285's will be exactly the same width at the...
You wouldn't necessarily see a "jump" if it's a rolling average. The more consistent your driving habits, the less noticeable it would be.
I've also seen someone say it's a rolling average over as little as 200 miles, although 500 makes more sense to me, and here's why...
I've put about 12k...
Others can chime in here if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that neither trip counter calculates past 500 miles. So that 30.4 avg is over your last 500 miles, even though it says 9837.
Hello everybody!
First post here…
I just picked up my 2022 1500 with a 76” bed last month.
I’m looking at an ARE Z Series canopy for a 2019-2022 Ram 2500, also with the 76” bed.
I’m sure it will “fit” as far as bed dimensions go, but does anybody have any experience putting one on their rig...
