One is from realtruck.com and one is from Amazon. Hmmm. They both feel the same material wise? I haven’t driven my truck yet since swapping. I will soon.
lol. I probably will. Check this out…
I bought a 2nd hellwig swaybar just to compare. I can return it on Amazon easily. Look at the difference. The arms sit at a different angle on the new one. They are angled up more. And yes they are both laying the same way.
Good advice. I have a pair of Energy Suspensions ready to go. Saturday I'll go under there and put them on and make sure everything is nice and tight. Suspension Max end links have been on my list but I've been waiting for Core 4x4 to possibly release some fronts, so they match my rears, I'm...
Thanks. It's hard to tell, it's like any shift in weight rocks the truck. Feels like it's from the front.
I actually replaced the panhard bar with a core 4x4. Much higher quality but still didn't make a difference. I have no lift in the rear so I just got the OEM size.
I think signs are...
I’ve been trying so many things. I have +1 wheels 275/60/20 SL TOYO AT3’s, hellwig rear sway bar on middle, core sway bar end links, core track bar, now the 5100 shocks with oem OFP springs set to .5 front.
I can feel it wants to handle so good but SOMETHING is making it rock back and forth...
I don’t know why I didn’t think of it, my cousin has a 2020 with stock 20’s and stock size tires. I can try his.
Any chance this could be front sway bar links? I’ve seen people have issues with them even with really low miles.
The alignment? Yeah it says DT. I'm so frustrated. I can't figure out why my truck rocks back and forth and feels like a boat over uneven roads. This is getting expensive lol.
I don't have my stock wheels to put back on so I might beg someone local to swap with me to try it I guess.
UPDATE:
So I ended up going with 5100's because I loved them on my Silverado. I had all 4 installed yesterday. I only went up .5" in the front, I like some rake and was just looking to resolve my "floaty" issue.
It hasn't really resolved it. The ride feels pretty much identical to how it...
Having 5100’s put on next week. I’m going to do 3 in the front with stock ORG springs and leave the stock height in rear with the new shocks. I kinda like some rake.
I’m talking about the 2019+. Worst. Seats. Ever. Just terrible. I almost took a huge loss and sold my Silverado lease just because I hated them so much.
Everyone in this thread has been helpful but Calvin I think you really described what was going on.
Ok I have a BTS that has a 1” lift. I’m going to get the Eibach struts to use with my stock springs and probably put the fronts on ring 2 to bring it up just a hair.
I’ll report back when they...
I wish I would have ordered these.
OK so I’m about to pull the trigger on Eibachs. I was debating 5100’s or the Eibachs and they won.
Could I get away with the shocks only using my OEM ORP springs? Only 6,000 miles on them or should I just go all in and get stage 2?
My truck is pretty much a...
