Why bother washing yer panties if you are just going to soil them again? There are obvious extremes but keeping my truck clean lets me see issues on the truck without becoming larger problems. To each their own path.

Its not nearly that bad with the window covers. The main difference I think is the interior parts arent as hot so it cools down faster. If I remote start the truck its very comfortable inside by the time I get in.

Yeah same here 2 steps from my truck to open a gate with the fob in my pocket and its honking at me. Doesnt matter if the door is open or closed. Edit: it only honks with doors closed.

Its a pain to get the filter off without a bit of a mess. I used a zip lock bag. Stiil managed to get some oil on the connector harness. I still prefer it to letting someone else do it.
