    Borla Atak vs S-type

The borla sound profile is musical and amazing. Once upon a time with my borla XR1 on my old rebel, on one of the first drives with the new muffler, that pesky prius FINALLLY got out of the left lane (49 in 65, no one in traffic was pleased). After they were perfectly and safely out of the way...

    Towing sag

Yes. People use their trucks for whatever they want to. If they're not using it to haul a ton of weight? I don't lose sleep over that. They got the vehicle they wanted. If it's levelled on 35x12.5s? Awesome. Some of the nicest looking setups on this board are running them like that. BUT. If...

    Towing sag

That was one of the things the 4x4 shop told me about before I ordered the falcon shock setup. Even with the falcon's payload knobs, sag is impossible to prevent. Not how it works. So if I had set it perfectly level when EMPTY, as weight is added, sag will occur. Might it be lessened? Yes. Will...

Mopar’s “Ram Airflow” Cold-Air Intake System For Ram 1500:

Yup! Me! And another gentleman https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/mopar%E2%80%99s-%E2%80%9Cram-airflow%E2%80%9D-cold-air-intake-system-for-ram-1500.11037/post-409807 Basically I drove in aton of "sideways snow" for like an hour. Threw open the hood, and after opening the ram air...

Truck Camper and suspension upgrades experience?

Hmm. Just being REALLLLY honest? I wouldn't do it. I had a Gen1 Rebel (4th Gen Ram 1500), and a Gen 2 Rebel. The 5.7 Hemi is more than enough pulling power for loads - after all the 5.7 Truck powerplant was the engine of choice in the 3/4tons for many many years (albeit with different specs)...

Mopar’s “Ram Airflow” Cold-Air Intake System For Ram 1500:

The vararam's scoop is super effective at grabbing air. I chose the Ram Air over it for 3 reasons 1) Mopar 2) It's "closed" (From hot air) 3) The snow scoop winter concerns. (Bonus: I don't think Mopar would have gone with a design that would do that. Customer freakout and lawsuit potential is...

    AVS AeroSkin LightShield Bug Shield

I saw one on a GMC in real life a few months ago and almost spun my head clean off looking at it. I was surprised how neat it looked on the square GMC. I'm curious as to what it looks like on the RAM!

Air suspension problems - Cold Weather Failure/Solutions

The air suspension on my Gen1 Rebel (Gen4 Ram1500) would level 1,200lbs no problem at all! Truck drove like it pretty much wasn't there. You had a suspicion you were hauling something, but you couldn't be sure what or how much.

    Dead Battery Poll

Thusfar no battery troubles. 2018 November build date Rebel, custom ordered for me, never sat on the lot. The truck also doesn't go more than 1-3 days without being driven, I've not done any mods related to the electrical systems

Mopar’s “Ram Airflow” Cold-Air Intake System For Ram 1500:

I was happy to see no snow in there! Here's what sparked my curiosity a while ago, not my image, the Vararam design that's sorta like the Ram Air: I'm going to guess that this was due to the chute design. The ram air seems more "closed". There isn't an installed chute feeding everything...

Mopar’s “Ram Airflow” Cold-Air Intake System For Ram 1500:

If I remember right a long time ago there was discussion about the Ram air intake and how it handles the snow? Today it's snowing, and it's that "sideways snow" variety, that you can swear is going straight at your vehicle as you drive. It was flying into the front of the truck, up over the...

    Falcon - Teraflex Kit out

So here with 2 simple photos - As you can see, there is still rake. To a trained eye? It has less rake. To level it, you have to set it to level. For me personally I'm very satisfied with the look, but if you LOVE the level look, set it to level. Day 2: Some more highway, and dry roads. Wow...

    Falcon - Teraflex Kit out

I put the sticker in the rear door, and here it is parked. At the medium setting, no it is not level. BUT, to a trained eye, that's not stock spring-suspension rake.

Quick note: This is an anecdote, and if it's wrong I will come back here and say it is wrong and correct it. After putting on the Terraflex shocks in the +1in setting in the front, I think I hear a smidge less tire noise. Something's different. By no means am I suggesting that the Falcon...

    Falcon - Teraflex Kit out

Interesting, a lot of guys LOVE the Falken AT3Ws, LOVE them - and some say the KO2 is "too old". And yet I friggin loved the KO2s I had, loved that rubber. In a word, the duratracs are in my opinion "under-rated." They just are. They're worth running until they're done. I didn't, out of raw...
