I have the same issue on my Laramie, It shots off multiple times during fill. Same gas stations and same pumps work just fine on my other 2 cars. Definitely some design or certain production model issues with the fill system components.
My truck was built in May, and did in fact had a loose battery-ground connector in the engine bay, easy DIY fix, wonder if it referring to the same connector/location. Mopar and NTSB shows no recalls for my VIN.
So, Do you all confirm that there is no stock/OEM PCV valve installed down the line that separates oil and air already? I personnaly interested in this mode but it got me thinking..
My BMW PCV assembly (OEM) separates oil and air, and dumps oil back to oil pan, thus almost all oil stays in the...
I love my two 50lb dogs but always transported them in travel kennels in the SUV for everyone safety. I assume that outside weather and dog size probably the main decision factor here. This is my dogs new custom travel apartment if they want to ride with me! Wielded sectional 2x2x3 ft kennel...
Ok, I had battery cables tight too, fuses all set and cables to fuse box all tight, what was loose is one of the other 5 ground studs around engine bay
What your battery voltage cluster shows when driving? Reason i am asking is that i had loose ground connector (became loose with in first 1k miles) and maunly caused flickering headlights, push/start not to engage from first press, parking brake acting up, not in park message when in fact car...
Check cabine air filter, it might be the cause. I had same issue in the past in my family SUV, replacing cabin air filter solved the problem. It accumulated moisture and possibly bacteria was growing on the filter.
I found very loose ground connection on the drivers side right by the headlight, almost feels that someone loosened it on purpose as others were all tight. Picture below, hope this will fix my headlight flickering, will update my findings
Do you happened to know where exactly it was loose? I l already disconnected and reconnected battery terminals, checked fuses, and terminals on the main fuse board.
I though so too, but it is with headlight On. With out headlights it reads 14.2/14.3. Tested battery and alternator at Autozone, all good. Spoke to local dealer - they have not seen issue like this and said they will have to troubleshoot and I will have to bring truck in. Before I do that in the...
Completely agree with your conclusion. Everyone has their own opinion but generally hope this type of findings would help people to not rely on the computer. Your car/truck computer does not sample oil, it simple use idle/drive time and time in general to calculate oil life.
Today remote start did not work on the cold start. I was reading posts for 4th generation trucks having headlight flickering issue and possibility of battery-alternator combo being a culprit. Planning tomorrow to test battery and alternator at local autoparts store before heading to dealer after...
