I just got all parts for kit from Mopar America, it took about a week. Mounting bracket came with no rust on it. Now I need to find time and read forum again on the installation tips.
I have 4x4 and dont have neither of the two. I am not an off road person and probably will never be. Primary bought 4x4 for mountain trips in the winter. Went twice to the mountains after the snow storm this season and was very happy with 4x4 and the fact I have it and did not feel that I was...
I see about the same numbers on mine, today on 85 degree day:
Between 210-220 for coolant temp, (assuming termostat rated around 215 to work/open)
Oil temp about 10 degree above coolant temps, I see 225 more often now
Around 185 transmission temps
50 psi pressure while driving in the city
Most of the impact force was absorbed by the hitch and as a result translated in whiplash and most likely why sitbelt did not lock up.
Best wishes to your wife.
Definitely a superbumper would help in this situation, but unfortunately it is not very friendly with rear sensors if equipped.
Good to hear that truck handled it well.
On the other hand, note to those who plan on towing large travel trailer with 3.21, that this may not be the case due to profile difference.
Mostly on the personal preference side and especially if you plan to keep truck for a long time and do lots of DIY maintenance/repairs. I do have 18 year old BMW, 8 year old SUV, and now a truck. I ordered one mainly because I plan to keep truck for a long time.
