Same here although I don't think it was a problem, at least in my case. For me it was user error. If I try to close it softly it doesn't fully latch. I would have to go back shut it hard. They don't make the tailgates as solid as they used to in favor of weight savings and soft open...
I finally put mine on and will agree that the fit was good and instructions were pretty good as well. I definitely can see where some water might get through, especially the corners by the cab. I'm just not all that concerned with it. I would expect some water with any tonneau and I'm not...
I hear you. Not a big deal but I can't unsee it and it's what I see every time I approach the truck and get in. Bugs the crap out of me. I guess if you're going to have an issue, that's not a bad one to have and others would gladly trade.
Anyone else have this one? My door lock bezel is not sitting flush on the door panel. I've tried a million ways to push this thing down and it just won't budge. The dealer wants to replace the door panel and I really don't want anyone hacking on my brand new truck and scratching my door, etc...
I'm watching this one carefully. My door lock bezel is not seated and I've tried a million different ways and it wont push further into the door panel to sit flush. Dealer wants to replace the door panel.
I asked myself the same question about this. It's the first thing I see when I open the door or approach the truck. How does this make it past all phases of manufacturing, yet such a simple thing to do right the first time. I've tried to push this thing a gazillian different ways and it won't...
Most of what's not automated in the manufacturing process and done manually, those people have a singular function. They may only be responsible for assembling a few items and do it a 1000 times a day. HOW DO MISTAKES LIKE THIS HAPPEN????????
There's a heap load of issues in volume and variety with these trucks. This isn't normal and is definitely manufacturing /quality control related. All cars have issues. It's inevitable, but with a new factory and employees, a new product and an early release, its a perfect storm. Just crossing...
This must be frustrating and best of luck with the repairs. Definitely the result of a new manufacturing plant. There's a lot of "stuff" going on with these trucks and many kinks being worked out on the fly. I should have leased!
I have to stop reading all these threads or I'm never going to enjoy my truck. I keep waiting for something to break. Coming from a Toyota that I owned for 10 years and never had to repair anything, this is not relaxing for me. Good luck with your rig. Mine is almost the exact same truck, minus...
I was all set on the MX4, but this Undercover Ultra flex is pretty slick. I like the prop rods that keep it off the back of the truck. Anyone ever have experience with both?
One thing that I've read about the Revolver is that in the winter, they can freeze up pretty good, especially if there's a lot of moisture in the air, and make it very stiff and difficult, if not impossible, to roll up.
