My Limited does not have the panoramic sunroof (which is heavy) and has the smaller gas tank. Also, it's a 5'7" bed. Other than that, it's pretty similar
My payload is 1363lbs I believe. Yours will be much lower with added weight of bed, roof and gas. I'm guessing in the 900lb range. In...
MIne's not exactly blowing ice cold air, but I can live with it. I just know that with my luck removing and replacing dash would lead to endless squeaks.
BTW, as a data point: I had a 2007 Nissan Titan that had an AC problem: the cabin temperature probe failed, so the AC just kept running and...
My 2014 has 184,000 miles on it. Trans fluid never changed. Shifts like new. Just another data point.
I did get an extended warranty - that way it's on RAM if their lifetime fluid claim turns out to be BS. So far, so good.
Every 50-75K is crazy IMO; I would be on my 4th fill. Even the...
My 'Vehicle Protection Plan' states that following is excluded:
"Interior - trim; carpet; upholstery; dash pad; door and window handles; knobs; buttons; moldings; armrests and headliner; cargo cover; cosmetic appearance; torn/worn/soil"
Happens in my truck all the time. My theory is (based on my observations) that the truck puts the AC in some sort of recirc mode when I stress the truck (accelerating for passing or merging on highway, or just accelerating from a stop). Which is fine, a lot of cars do that.
The problem is...
I do abt. 35,000 miles/year. I have used the extended warranty on 2 of my 4 FCA vehicles (all hemis - 3 trucks, 1 Challenger).
My 2014 Ram CC was the worst so far:
- defective driver-side mirror - would have been almost $1000 I believe (power, heated, self-dimming, puddle light, etc)
-...
Well, if the startup tick becomes a farting sound that lasts less than a minute, you will know that you have a cracked manifold. Mine were just replaced and that's how the sound progressed for me (on both my 2020 and a few years ago on my 2014).
My Limited and Bighorn weigh within abt. 200lbs of each other. And if both EPA stickers are based on Tradesman, then the relative fuel economy discrepancy still stands as a percentage.
Relatively speaking, and this is according to Ram itself, there should have been a 18% improvement in fuel mileage between the two trucks. Instead, it's almost 10% worse. That's quite a difference. (screenshots are directly from the Munroney forms for my two trucks).
To the posters here reminding us that you do not buy a truck to get good gas mileage: you are absolutely right.
However, that does not explain why my 2020 Limited with all the gas-saving doodads sucks more fuel (gets abt. 1.5mpg less in same drive cycle) than our 2014 Big Horn.
The 2014 Big...
There is no need to remove the tabs in the Limited with the LockerDown safe. You will need to cut the mat, but that can be done so you will never see the cut line.
