You’re right, that fact slipped my mind. So I should have said the oil level indicator, which is basically showing between full and 1 quart low. Substitute that for what I posted about the dipstick full and low marks and my post is still valid.
I can't tell you what normal oil consumption is on either Hurricane engine. I'm assuming when you say it's down to 3/4 you mean on the dipstick. Which means it's down about 3/4 of a quart. That could be normal in a new Hurricane after 3k miles. Other owners might be able to give input on...
I'm sure NASCAR will get along just fine without your support. Tons of other people enjoy watching it. I used to be one of them until they became woke like most other professional sports have done. The engines are limited to 358 cubic inches.
You can reuse the bolts from the black rails for the silver rails. Dealership where we bought our 2020 Limited let us swap the black rails out for silver ones at no charge when we bought it. I knew about the rail issue prior to buying so I was able to negotiate that in.
Yes, but it’s a separate model from the Limited. Until a couple years ago it was called Laramie Longhorn. I never understood why Ram didn’t just call it a Longhorn. Maybe they just like to keep people confused. But it is a totally separate model from a Limited.
I see nothing there which says you can run anything but 91 octane in the HO. In fact, the last sentence for the HO says "The use of 91 or higher octane premium gasoline is required in this engine.". Not recommended, but required. It's the SO that you can use 87 octane according to the manual.
That's the first thing I did in my first 5th gen. It was actually the sales rep who recommended I turn it off. I disable auto braking on any vehicle equipped with it. Alarms are one thing but allowing the vehicle to slam on the brakes when it thinks it needs to doesn't give me a warm fuzzy.
This response makes me think you checked the top option in this survey. :p
I mean, lets be honest. Half ton pick-ups aren't really trucks. They are perfectly capable of doing some "truck stuff". But let's face it, this is a truck...:ROFLMAO:
Ram owners are now experiencing what F150 owners went through 15 years ago lol. Naturally aspirated v8 versus a 6 cylinder twin turbo. It's a tired argument. Get which ever engine you feel more comfortable with and move on. I'm just glad we have a v8 option again. More engine options is a...
It seems that you're wanting to start up a philosophical discussion in a truck forum. Okay, I'll bite. From a legal standpoint, I do own my vehicle and my house. From a philosophical standpoint I own nothing because when I die I can't take anything with me. That's about as deep as I get...
This thread was started in 2019. Back then it wasn’t easy to find a night edition grille. You can use any Limited Blackout or Night Edition grille from 2020 thru 2024 models.
