This is a common topic. Yes they wear out quickly, I think more quickly than the same tire bought off the shelf. I think the OEM's set their own spec and ensure they don't last too long, cutting down on cost. I got pretty much the same out of mine, replaced 4-5 months ago with 28k...
Not so much classic stuff, but a few things I acquired when i found good deals.
I have a miniDSP C-DSP 8x12 with Dirac Live that i want to use for processing.
I have a pair of Audio Development W800-NEO's that i want to run in the front doors. Will need a 6x9 to 8" adapter made for those...
Great job! Out of curiosity, where are you located? I have been debating on custom underseat box and some pods/door adapter rings. I guess you dont really "need" the truck there to build any of that, but being closer might give me more motivation to do something.
I have all kinds of...
Isn't that the truth. That is definitely the right answer, but then you lose at least 1/3 if not more of the already small bed. Ive probably used the whole bed more times than ive used the backseat so im trying to avoid that route, but it may be inevitable.
I did that for a while, and there is definitely a part of me that prefers bass over functionality, but eventually I got tired of seeing that big *** box sitting back there all the time.
I was also nervous about going under seat and having a significant loss of bass. On a whim, I just...
We recently sold my wife's car to Vroom. I was apprehensive seeing some issues similar to OP, but I was not worried about making the extra payment (knowing it will be refunded by the lender when all the dust clears), but to us the big thing was getting their offer which gave us $3,600 in equity...
A buddy of mine just traded his 19 Limited and got $51k. That sparked me to check mine. KBB shows $52-$54k trade in for my 19 limited with 29k miles. That is exactly what I paid brand new in June 2019 (when they had 20% off MSRP plus dealer discounts). Imagine driving a truck for 2 years...
90% 3M crystaline on windshield and I love it. Great heat rejection and you can't tell its there.
If you wear polarized sunglasses you may get some odd colors at times, but to me that was minimal and not a huge issue. With non-polarized sunglasses or no sunglasses I have zero distorion or...
Its likely the whole light that will need to be replaced. Get to the dealer ASAP and let them know its been sporadic and finally crapped out. If you are really that close on mileage they have some discretion on what to cover.
Have a good story too. It was sporadic, but with covid and...
Same, no issues, The tint will actually go under the rubber trim that "rubs" against the glass so it cant get hung up or peel back when you open/close the window.
Keep in mind there are lots of exclusions to this plan. I bought one too and recently tried to have a tire with a nail repaired/replaced and they claimed the tires were too worn out (which they did have a lot of wear) to use the plan.
It also doesnt cover cosmetic damage, so if you curb your...
Not sure if it will help anyone or not, but also check the entire inside frame for cracks. Mine has been cracked for over a year and it never really leaked until recently, but this is a common problem (i think there was an issue with the mold used for this frame) and if it cracks along the...
Check out PenFed, You would want the refinance option, but they have the best rates and methods to join for anyone. Navy Fed Credit Union is also good, but only for military and families of military. Those are best national choices, a local credit union may be better or worse you have to...
I had a similar issue when I tool delivery of my 2019 last year. I was told that the factory over inflates them so they dont have any issues leaking down if the truck ends up setting on the lot for a long time. Could have just been dealer talk, but the only answer I got.
I would just set...
Be careful here. I did the same thing, but as it turns out the wheel/tire warranty does not cover non structural issues. So curbed wheel that still holds air and balances out does not apply. Only if the rim beaks in half or the tire blows out entirely do you get any coverage.
I think it depends a lot of the brand of tint and how many windows are being tinted.
I recently got 3M all the way around.
Crystaline Windshield - $200
Crystaline Panoroof - $125
3M Color Stable on four sides and rear- $325
Tax $50
$700 total.
Could have got a cheaper tint (Still Ceramic)...
