    Touchless car wash?

With Xpel Ultimate Plus PPF on the front bumper, rocker panels, A pillars and edge of roofline, and Feynlab Heal Lite ceramic coating on the rest of the painted surfaces, I'm not really sweating the car washes with the rotating brushes. Some hot water, or this blazing Texas heat and any swirl...

Full Synthetic Oil - Why Not Use 0W-20?

Yes I've read that. What I'd love to know (from a HEMI engineer or someone on the inside at FCA) is the deeper "why" they spec 5W-20 and not 0W-20, 0W-30 or even 5W-30 if it meets the Chrysler MS-6395 spec? What is it about a 0W weight in cold temps (or at startup) that is bad for this engine...

Full Synthetic Oil - Why Not Use 0W-20?

Aside from the owner's manual stating a recommended viscosity rating of 5W-20, what would be the downside of running 0W-20 or even a 5W-30 full synthetic in our 5.7L HEMIs so long as the oil meets the MS-6395 spec? Would Ram not honor their warranty if there were any engine issues? Been...

    Vanity Mirror Bulb Replacing Help

Yikes, that sounds terrible! If you had spent $20 for 4 of the Diode Dynamics SMF2 bulbs (24 lumens) in cool white color, you'd have gotten exact replacement bulbs for the ones that came with the truck. Popping off the 4 lenses, replacing the 4 bulbs, and replacing the 4 lenses, was a one-beer...

    Vanity Mirror Bulb Replacing Help

Removing bolts and taking the whole thing out sounds way more tedious than popping the lenses off to replace the bulbs, and popping them back on. Just my $.02. [emoji846] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Leather Cleaners / Conditioner Preference?

What is everyone using to clean / condition their leather interiors? My last truck had cloth seats and a lot of plastic, but this Limited has (what appears to be ) leather everywhere! Seats, dash, steering wheel, door panels, etc. I've heard most manufacturers these days have a coating on...

Do you actually use your panoramic sunroof?

I absolutely love the panoramic sunroof. I had my detailer put Xpel Prime XR Plus 45 tint on it, and it adds just the right amount of darkness to it on these sunny Houston days. The tint also cuts down a ton on the heat coming through the sunroof - 97% of the IR from 780 nm to 1700 nm. Super...

    Vanity Mirror Bulb Replacing Help

I ordered them straight from Diode Dynamics' website. Go there, put your truck information in , and it tells you which bulbs you need. Simple. I also ordered their white LED replacement bulbs for the high-mounted cargo lights also. They are bright!

    Vanity Mirror Bulb Replacing Help

I answered my own question without breaking anything. Yes, those little plastic lenses just pop off if you use a small flat head screwdriver and are careful. Vanity mirror bulbs changed to LEDs. Matches the rest of the bulbs inside now. Perfect. And more bright.

    Vanity Mirror Bulb Replacing Help

How do I access the 2 bulbs on each sun visor vanity mirror to replace them? Do the plastic lenses over the bulbs pop off if I use a small flat head screw driver and coax it gently? Thanks in advance! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just received a quote for XPEL & Ceramic Coatings. Is this a good deal? What did you pay?

Interesting, I wonder what they like about the Suntek better. I looked at the specs between Suntek and Xpel tint film and it seems Xpel's specs are far and away better in terms of IR rejection - which is where most of the sun's heat comes from.

Just received a quote for XPEL & Ceramic Coatings. Is this a good deal? What did you pay?

My truck should be ready today. The detail shop I'm using (Gulf Coast Auto Shield in Houston, TX) only does Xpel for their window tint and paint protection film services, and only Feynlab for their ceramic coating services. Here's a summary of what I'm having done: - Xpel Prime XR Black 35...

    Oil Preference?

Curious - in my 2011 Tundra I used Toyota's 0W-20 full synthetic oil and had zero issues in the Texas heat. Any particular reason FCA specs 5W-20 instead of 0W-20 for their 5.7L Hemi?

What's with the oil catch cans?

So since Mishimoto can't seem to ever make more of their catch cans to sell, what alternatives are the best if one can't wait for Mishimoto?

Head Scratcher - Need Help - $445 Bed Utility Group

Update: I got the bed divider from my dealer yesterday and assembled it late last night. It works awesome, but one potential downside is that the rails you have to install onto the BUG side rails stick up higher than the BUG side rails, so there is a chance this divider will not work with my...

Head Scratcher - Need Help - $445 Bed Utility Group

So maybe my sales guy just mis-spoke when we were sitting in his office doing the ordering of the truck on his computer. Humans make mistakes. Has anyone here put the "Cargo Bed Divider" - Mopar part number 82215481 - on their non-Ram Box 2019 Ram? I saw this on the Mopar parts website...
