I asked L Curtis this, but wondering if you have any info on 6112's and setting them on clip location#8....as far as ride quality offroad etc. I am not replacing the stock rears on my Rebel EcoDiesel just yet, though. Just looking for some offroad performance and a more level truck.
What clip are you running on the 6112s? I'm looking to add 6112's on max clip 8 for my 20' Rebel EcoDiesel. I offroad a bit so I am wondering if the travel/ride will be OK on #8.
Anyone running 6112's on their 5th Gen Rebel/4wd EcoDiesels? Going to slap on a pair up front and wondering if it rides good off-road and on-road set on the highest clip (clip #8) ???? I want it to ride nice, wondering if clip#8 is going to ride like crap? I do take my truck offroad...
Lame. I wonder why they are excluding Rams? We've been waiting on this for 12 months. I just called my dealer, and FCA about this today to get an update (before I heard this news). FCA recall rep told me there was no fix and no eta when I gave him my VIN. Glad to hear its out, but...
Nvm. Found a YouTube video showing the process. What's the overall process like? I've changed my own oil and oil filter's before (past vehicles). But never a fuel filter for a diesel. Assuming probably pretty similar/easy.
Depending on how much you drive at night, and also night off-road. Then yeah, if you're willing to spend the $$. If you do little driving at night, then probably go with a cheaper option.
You returned your rebel? How does that work... I didn't know dealerships allowed people to return trucks they just purchased and drove off lots? Did you mean, trade-in?
I'd do this next time, are there step by step instructions for this somewhere on the forum? For the Diesel model, removing the bumper was a pain in the a**. The intercooler brackets essentially block the 3x bumper bolts on each side. Thus, I removed the intercooler brackets and dropped the...
Done, and done.
Fyi - removing the bumper on the Diesel model is not as straightforward as the hemi models. I needed to drop the intercooler and remove one of my front tow hooks in order to remove my bumper easily. Still need to put one of my tow-hooks back on, but mostly done.
It was hard, but I did it. Had to drop the intercooler to get good access to unbolt the bumper. Also, removed one tow hook to create enough space to work and jiggle the intercooler loose. I can post more pics and steps later.
Has anyone removed the front bumper on their 2019+ EcoDiesel?
I am looking for instructions, or, a tutorial for the EcoDiesel model.
I followed a YouTube video for a 5th Gen 5.7Hemi model, but when I went to remove the 6 (3x on each side) 18mm bolts securing the frame to the bumper.....I...
Hm, not sure i haven't added any aftermarket lift to my Rebel yet, so I haven't looked much into the other tire size choices when you lift the ram up 2".
Did you also use an aftermarket UCA? What was the spacer brand you went with to get perfectly level? Also, did you go with larger tires afterwards? Sorry for all the questions.
