From what I have inspected, the cv axle goes through a solid hole in the hub, there is nothing that it is holding together. It’s just being held to the hub by the axle nut
Oh I 100% wouldn’t do it on a older vehicle but on the 4th gen’s it worked because the hubs were exactly the same on the 2wd & 4wd but the 5 gen’s actually have different hubs although they made exactly the same

Do you have to remove the entire box that the heater/evaporator core is inside from truck? I’m currently replacing one on my 2020 rebel and curious if there is a way to do it without draining my A/C?
