Just purchased rears for $149 shipped from ebay for my Bighorn. I have 3.5" Readylift with Stock shocks. Will see how these ride as the rear needed it most.
They "bang" when going full down and full up. Believe it is more the inner metal panel on truck where they bolt up. I gave up and accepted it as "Normal" My truck was in the video
My truck did this today and believe it was from the truck's shadow that caused it. About broke my neck as brakes applied hard and jerk vehicle violently. Like the idea, unfortunately it is very flawed! Hate this!
The GMC had a bunch more power as it was tuned for E85 and had a BTR Camshaft among a list of other upgrades. It also had a much better turning radius. The RAM has good power, rides and drives amazing, and interior is much better. Still partial to the GMC looks. I do like the RAM better.
Loosen the thru-bolt on the round canister, it's a 13mm. Once loosened you can push canister into higher position and then tighten down bolt. It won't hit after that.
It does not look like 3.5" of lift based on space between tire and wheel well. What is your measurement from ground to center of wheel well? I'm at 42" from ground to center and 8.25" between top of tire and middle of wheel well. I have 3.5" Readylift on 35" Nittos's
Dealing with this issue right now. I took mine in today to Beaman Dodge in Murfreesboro TN and they did the 3 recalls that were open and stated "Could not duplicate noise". I begged them to go for a ride with me and they wouldn't do it. I called RAM and got a case # but they said they can't...
