No kidding my passenger side tow mirror is useless for daily driving. Impossible to adjust for blind spot. Took me a while to figure out its magnified to see down back side of a trailer. I thought i was going crazy.
I have been cycling between defrost and the front vents repeatedly with the fan on high. My Hope Is that the seal on the door will wear in a little bit. Sounds far-fetched but I think it's helping. It's just a tiny bit of air that is squeaking past the seal. But it's enough to fog the window...
If your happy with your truck don't look back. If you shopped for a larime its its likely you still would have wanted some upgrades. IE sport package, premium sound....And the price would have creeped up.... Sounds like you have a nice truck and well deserved. Thankyou for your service!
Alot of gear in the back seat will mess with the way a malfunctioning ANC operates. Especially if the speakers are blocked. The TSB actually describes this situation in the instructions. The OP stated his back seat was loaded up with luggage. Like Cra1g stated above if the ANC is functioning...
Thats a very common problem. Ironically its from the automatic noise cancellation system. There are TSB'S. Research them here then take it to the dealership.
My replacement window was supposed to be here today. Service manager called and said now it would not be here till the end of September. That ain't gonna work! ......To sum things up i have lost the use of my vehicle 15 day, I've got new dents and scratches, someone left my truck idle in excess...
Sounds familiar. Pretty much exactly the same run around i got. Moving forward i plan to disable ANC. More of a problem then a perk in my opinion.
On a side note.....what was wrong with your mirror. I have tow mirrors and my passenger side glass magnification is ridiculous. Curious if this is...
Its a buyer beware scenario. In fact i let my dealership know that one of the loaner trucks i drove had displaced pano roof drain grommets. They were unphased and to date that has still gone unaddressed. Thats why this forum is such a valuable tool! Knowledge is power.
Yep. RAM added the welded nut on the frame part way through the year. Youll need an M8 bolt at least 44mm long. Install it straight through the welded nut (a spacer so to speak) and sincth it up with the M8 nut provided by amp. Piece o cake.
Yep. We isolated the 3rd BL and antenna its definitely come in the window for me. My theory is bad OEM bond between the glass itself and the seal which is done at the manufacturer. I believe they have a bad batch of glass out in production.
