Maybe you could slip your phone under there and take some pics?
When I installed mine, there was a lot in the way (frame, exhaust, etc), but I could reach up and around those to work the seal in place.
We'll give them the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise, but just be aware that some dealer Web sites play the unethical trick of making that low price the sum of all possible incentives and rebates, but where no individual is likely to qualify for most and/or where discounts conflict...
That's a great price. Let's put the squeeze on the dealers to make that a standard cost. Guessing 1/2 hour of shop time for a 10 minute job. Still decent money for them, reasonable for us who do our own mods.
If you can, please let us know what the dealership charged to add the sales code. I am going to add my controller soon and I like to be "armed" with information when I go to my dealership.
Keep in mind that most things are negotiable at the dealership, even things you might not expect like parts and extended warranties. OF COURSE they aren't going to tell you that. If you are on this forum, you were most likely well prepared for negotiating the price of your truck. You should also...
As you can see from this thread, Craig is one busy sales dude....
I also picked up my new Big Horn from Koon's two weeks ago and my experience mirrors the posts above. Craig is professional, always prompt with responses, and very knowledgeable about Ram trucks. Everything possible was done by...
@Cmerkert - Rats....no freebee.......but you have your truck!
Yes, I was referring to the charger behind the phone slot.
That's the problem with the Limiteds.......less mods!
Also, I wouldn't ask for ceramic applied by the dealer. That is likely to be farmed out to the absolutely lowest bidder and who knows what they will do, or if they have any clue what they are doing. Misapplied ceramic doesn't wash off, you have to abrasively remove it. If asking, ask for...
Prices are similar ($41 - $45) at most of the usual Mopar parts sites. What you REALLY have to watch is the shipping. These things are light but big, so the shipping companies are going to up the price for the size of the box instead of the weight. More than one site I went to wanted more for...
Not sure if you are looking for a Mopar cover or an aftermarket. I just put on a BAKFlip MX4 cover this weekend on my 2019 Big Horn with RAM Boxes and I am very happy with the looks and operation.
Works well with the RAM Box covers. The MX4 is very low profile, so I can open the covers fully...
Sure looks like it is going back to the factory for something.
Weird that it is trucked to Koons all the way, but maybe no available train for a while.
Mine went to Koons via train most of the way.......but truck is probably faster than train, so, lucky you.
Just drove my Hemi, 3.92, 18" wheels Big Horn home from the dealer (3 1/2 hours). Started with 7 miles on the odometer. Mix of DC stop and go, country, and mountain driving.
Average climbed and finished at 17.4 MPG, so quite surprised considering other stories. I do drive with a fairly light...
Several possible reasons:
Dealers pay "rent" on unsold inventory. They want to unload the older ones to stop the bleeding.
Dealers have less knowledge to know what feature sets sell the best when a new model comes out. Their early guesses for stock orders don't sell as quickly. Also similar for...
Sorry, mine would be a purchase, not a trade out. I'll make you a good deal. Not sure what shipping would be, but I saved all the wrapping from my new wheels to ship my 18's safely. I'll be posting in the Forum Ad's when the truck arrives if you aren't interested. Thanks.
Ha, someone beat me to it. I'm a little closer, western Virginia. My Big Horn is due any day now. I have already purchased 20" Helo wheels, so I will be taking off my stock 18's with about 150 miles on them. Will be bolt up ready with lug nuts and tire sensors included. If you like, I'll even...
For Georgia, it will be mostly rail.
Mine was built on Feb 9 (according to the window sticker) and as of this past Monday, my dealer said it was in Connellsville PA. Looking at the CSX rail map, sure enough, there is a switching yard just south of that town, so the truck is roughly two thirds...
Let me take a shot at #1. With a four wire trailer connection, the truck can't sense that the trailer is connected, so the displayed trailer stats don't display.
When you have a seven wire connection, and your trailer has electric brakes, the load presented by the brake windings, can be sensed...
There have been posts about a massive backlog of Mopar mats, but the backlog might be ending.
I ordered the Crew Cab mats with the red logo on Monday, and they are arriving tomorrow.
I ordered from moparonlineparts.com using the "mopforumz" coupon code for free shipping (and no warning about...
