If the "kit" is not available or severely backordered, then the individual parts may be readily available. I installed my own and the individual parts were easy to find and about half the price of the kit.
For the list of individual parts see this post...
Used Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour on my aftermarket Helo wheels 10 months ago. Still looks great and wheels clean up easily. Applied carefully, following instructions to first get the wheel totally clean (Panel Wipe is your buddy). Did a single coat. Pretty easy but they were new wheels.
I did buy...
I've had the MX4 for close to a year and no dings or problems. I am conscious what I place on top of the cover, but I put hand and garden tools, trash bags, lumber up there all the time without problems. I am careful to set it, not drag it. Never been though a hail storm however.
There are a...
I would suggest you look at the "out the door" price rather than focus on the car buying world of murky/shady/sketchy practices of fees, rebates, and incentives. The most important question - Is Koon's final price better than you can get locally?
For me, they beat the snot out of any prices I...
That is the part number (6510175AA) for the screws I ordered and installed. Worked perfectly.
Aside - The wide variation in shipping costs mentioned in this thread is probably due to the box size the shipper chooses to use for the liners. Shipping companies now ding you for weight OR volume...
Yeah, stay far away from the brush car washes........
There are a number of threads to dig through on this forum.
There are some scattered threads on waxing, sealant, and ceramic coating, typically done by pros, although some have done their own.
Not a lot of cleaning "how to" on this...
Actually, yes. It is moderately difficult, mainly that you are likely to have to solder some connections to existing wires up under the dash. The mechanical piece has a lot of steps, but none of those very difficult.
See this thread, starting with Post #1...
IMHO, you could separate these into "don't need it" and "might need it" items.
For sure the "don't need it" ones would be the "paint protection" and "fabric protection" schemes/shams, along with the "VIN number etching" (unless maybe you live in a high vehicle theft area). This is the area...
That's basically what I did. I bought a Big Horn instead of a Laramie, and the extra Ram incentives/rebates on the Big Horn paid for many of my enhancements. Plus I got to pick my leather colors that fit the Blue Streak. The drawback was I sacrificed that awesome Sport hood. Sniff Sniff.
Interesting question!
In the box, there were more pieces of leather covers than I had seats. When I was done, I had what looked like a small bottom, back, and a flattened sheet that looked like it might cover an armrest. I think this is for the bench seat, if that bench seat is like the one in...
I purchased it on eBay. Do a search for "Ram Katzkin". I feel confident I did buy from an installer (and a quick Google search seems to confirm that). I'm pretty sure this is a "kit" that Katzkin or the installer keep "in stock" (versus having full custom covers made). There are only limited...
I just completed the conversion of my Big Horn Deluxe Cloth seats to Katzkin Leather.
I am really impressed with the quality, and I'm sure, at the very minimum, it matches the factory leather, but probably exceeds it. The fit is excellent, with very few wrinkles, and those are quickly...
It is moderately fast, like you used a fairly cheap wall wart charger. Seems typical of other wireless chargers I have used. My charge improved about 25% in about 20 minutes if that tells you anything.
I have a Morphie case on my phone, so your results may vary.
It is picky about exact...
I just slid back the console, but it is held in by six 10mm bolts. The four on the side of the console are obvious, but the two under the dash are hidden by the dash components.
I'm thinking you would have to do steps 1 thru 13, plus the two screws on the CD player in step 14, to get the...
I installed the Mopar Wireless Phone Charging Pad in my Big Horn yesterday. I didn't take pictures since the Mopar Install doc (link below) has very good diagrams, and the tricky parts under the dash would have been almost impossible to photograph...
Just did mine yesterday. A pry tool helps get things started. Once you can get your fingers behind the plastic, then you get better feedback using your hands (that you are not damaging anything).
Just make sure it is a plastic one to keep from marring things. I have had great luck with the...
Here you go.
My pictured 2001 Dakota Quad is the older blue called Intense Blue. It is much brighter than 2019 Blue Streak.
My opinion is that Blue Streak is more dependent on the amount of light striking it. On very cloudy days or evenings, it becomes a very deep blue, but not Navy Blue, like...
Ha, your bracket looks pristine compared to mine, which was almost totally covered in surface rust. I should have taken a "before" pic, but a few minutes of sanding/priming/painting and here is mine:
Tag me as OCD (and, yeah, my truck is Blue Streak, so I color matched, kinda), but I'm not...
