Well, it doesn't quiet down the rattle of the Diesel. On acceleration, I can clearly hear the engine loud and clear. At highway speeds, however, the Diesel on the 2022 is quieter than the hemi was on my 2019. Nothing annoying and I like the sound but it isn't canceled out for sure on acceleration.
