I think this is pretty close. I remember old 4-speed manual pickups where you never used the 1st gear. It was the granny gear and only used if really loaded up. All the other time you just took off in second...the 3.92s have a granny gear basically.
It's so simple to understand the gearing with something probably everyone has right in the garage or basement...a 10-speed bicycle.
Grab that bike and put it in 1st gear then get on an incline and pedal away. You'll get going easy and scoot up the hill but once you hit 3 miles an hour you're...
Yeah, 1st post and a really strange issue. Could be someone from the Chevy forums over here busting chops  😄
Would love to see a video on this (photos are too easy to manipulate). This is a pretty serious mistake if made at the factory.
Better yet a video. Start by showing the dash where it shows diesel, pan back from the dash, and then exit the truck and open the fuel door in a continuous video.
This is a pretty big issue and really should be corrected.
Mine moves a little bit. I don't think it's an issue. I've used it several times and had no issues. I also bought some after-market handles but got mine on Ebay.
Although I don't know anyone who was ticketed for a passenger not wearing a seatbelt, many states can ticket both the unbuckled passenger and the buckled-up driver. The driver is responsible for making sure everyone in the vehicle is adhering to the laws...
Yes, I have the 4X4 with 3.21 gears but all the heavy options like a sunroof, ram box, and multi-function tailgate and managed to get 29.2 on my last trip back. 250 miles averaging 62 mph on the trip. You should be able to hit 30 I would think, at least according to the truck's EVIC. Mixed...
The range is really nice for sure. I can fill up the 33-gallon tank and have over 800 miles of HGWY range. This means I can drive my bi-monthly 500-mile round trip from upstate NY to Atlantic City and any running around without having to fuel up until I get back.
I just got back from another...
Ditto on what everyone else is saying. Factory Nav on ANY vehicle will be sub-par to Google maps.
The factory nav doesn't collect any data. Google collects tons. You can't have all the features of Google maps without collecting data. It's hard to beat Google Maps. The only time I use the...
Someone here correct me if I am wrong but the Super Cruise is a completely different system than Tesla or the Comma.ai.
GM's super cruise was a 5K option and also requires a monthly OnStar subscription (at $400 a year there is 2K in 5 years alone). It uses pre-mapped Lidar data for...
Any updates for the 2022 12" Uconnect 5 yet? Mine hasn't worked right straight from the dealer. Freezes, blanks out, won't connect to the phone. I stopped at the dealer a couple of weeks ago and they said nothing they can do to fix it at this time as they are waiting for updated software.
It is but barely. This compares my last Hemi Ram with 3.92 gears which barely saw above 19 mpg on HGWY trips. On my Ram with the 3.21 gears, I would regularly get 21-22 MPG so the difference would be less for those with 3.21 gears. MY Eco diesel has the 3.21 gears FYI.

I hit my best mileage ever on a trip from Atlantic City to Upstate NY a total of 249 miles. It took 4hr 9min so it was an average speed of about 62 MPH.
I was doing the speed limit which was probably about 70 MPH half the trip on the PA Turnpike and 65 the rest with the occasional 55 MPH...
Nope..not being sarcastic at all.
This might be a good solution for say if you were parked at an airport or in a parking garage for an extended stay. Just pop out the relay and the truck won't start. Simple and effective and they can program all the keys they want! Won't stop the tow job but...
In the good old days you just popped the distributor cap, removed the rotor and put it in your pocket, and put the distributor cap back on.
As technical as these trucks are it seems like there is one part under that hood you could easily remove or unplug that will prevent the truck from starting :)
just checked out the GT package and looks great! It's awesome RAM offers choices like this. Myself, when I bought my first RAM in 2016 the Rotary shifter sold me. Column shifters are so ugh after seeing it. And I loved the extra space it gave in the center console.
That console shifter though...
