You have to consider that (1) they’ve already engineered that engine to fit, (2) it’s cheap to make more of something you’re already producing, and (3) it won’t make peak power here - rather, it will likely be tuned for maximum economy at a steady-state RPM - which means it may only produce the...
Re: the OP here, I think we're still in a "wait and see" moment. Given the slew of breakthroughs in battery technology in 2023 alone, we'll see triple the range and drastically reduced charge times (50-95%, depending on technology) coming to market over the next few years. I think the only...
Ram's design makes practical sense. I'm not a fan of the off-center split, though. I'd prefer something that can be used from either side equally. (Yes, I realize that would have meant engineering a unique latching mechanism for MFT trucks.)

Correct - Lifetime MaxCare for me. I purchased it in the fall of 2018, shortly before they were discontinued (and just a couple of months after taking delivery of my ‘19).
Many of us agree that Ram nailed it with the black/saddle Longhorn interior. It was tough for me to decide between the Patriot Blue and Delmonico Red exterior, but I ultimately ordered mine in red after seeing it in the sun. Here are some pics from those early days...I'm happy to report that...
