    Blackout 2022 Limited

It is incredible that they charge more for painted trim than chrome. When I replaced the chrome letters and badges on my '16 Big Horn with black, every piece was much cheaper than the chrome equivalent.

2 Week old Truck is Dead on Driveway - Running Boards Draining Battery?

Two reasons I would never buy a Limited, air suspension and power side steps. However, if I owned a Limited I would either replace them with fixed boards or when they are deployed, pull the power to them so they stay deployed.

    Favorite grille

To me the Longhorn grill looks very plain and generic. I think it is the worst looking one of all the DT's. There is nothing distinctive about it.

After a 1,563 year generation...the next gen Tundra!

Kill it with fire. Toyota needs new stylists. They seem to thrive on goofy looks. This thing make the Silverado 1500 look good and equals the Chevy 2500 for the ugliest truck crown.

    2022 Silverado’s new interior unveiled

I guess if you don't want the console shifter, you get the old fashioned column shifter. I think the Suburban and Tahoe use push buttons. I still think the Knob is the best of all the options. Simple to use and takes minimal space.

Ram Trucks Reduces The Complexity Of Its 2022 Ram 1500 Lineup!

Also make the power side steps optional. I prefer the added protection of a fixed step and less complexity for this basic feature. Minus 10 and a couiple feet of snow, how good will those power steps work?

Removing Branding/Lettering on outside (RAM, Laramie, 4x4)

Too bad they designed this truck so you need major body work if you remove the tacky hood badges. I have yet to see apost where someone said they actually liked them.

    Possible 2023 RAM 1500 refresh?

I sure hope the refresh is more than what the picture of the Limited shows. They need to eliminate the grill top under the brow. Integrate the grill surround into the brow. There are too many pieces to the front end now. Also, kill the hood badges with fire! The attached photoshop was done by...

2022 headlight, grille and bumper changes

Hopefully the minor exterior changes include at least a new grill design that isn't so generic.

2022 headlight, grille and bumper changes

At 1st I didn't care for the then Rebel, now Warlock. I'm ok with it now. The Express can be optioned up to almost the Warlock level of trim to keep the total Classic look. Missing on the Express is the rear slider window and the overhead console with the Homelink. Rear slider is a must for...

2022 headlight, grille and bumper changes

Chevy is getting a refresh in '22. Ford was new for '21. New Tundra coming. Ram needs a refresh before '23. Hopefully the refresh whenever it comes fixes the front end and all of its quirks. Kill the hood badges too. The look hasn't grown on me yet. Still a Classic fan over the DT. The ideal in...

    lemon exchange question

When I did the lemon law process on my '14 Ram, I used these guys. https://www.lemonlaw.com/pa-lemon-law.html The settlement I got was a refund of the purchase price, minus a mileage adjustment, interest paid on the loan, and a reimbursement for any mods I did after I bought the truck. The tires...

    2022 RAM 1500

The crosshair is just about gone from Dodge too. Only the Charger SXT has it. The Charger RT and other models have front ends that closely resemble the Rebel. So much for separation of brands and brand identity. Ram threw away 25 years of brand identity when they came out with the DT, no...

    2022 RAM 1500

I would imagine the GMC tailgate is very expensive to replace or repair. Also, the snow and salt from the northern winters will probably do some damage in a few years.

    2022 RAM 1500

Ford is charging $165 for the privilege of getting the collapsible shifter over their standard shifter. Maybe they are trying to see what the feedback is on it before they make it standard. Seems like a needlessly complicated component, much like the GMC multi function tailgate. In my eyes the...

    2022 RAM 1500

Ford's new collapsible shifter is a needlessly complicated design compared to the simplicity of the knob. The new design shifter is supposed to allow a flat work space when not in motion. The Ram does that with a simple knob. A review of the '21 F150 on another site commented on how cheap the...

    2022 RAM 1500

These Photoshop pics were done by someone else on another site a few years ago. Imo, the front looks a whole lot better with eliminating the brow.

    2022 RAM 1500

Back on other Ram changes, the front end needs a refresh. Kill the brow and the hood badges. Bring back the crosshair grill on certain models.

New HEMI Etorque Hood Badging for 2021?

Too bad there is not a way to eliminate the hood badges without major body work. At least on the Classic, if you didn't want badges they were easy to remove. I think these badges look like something from Pep Boys, especially the chrome versions.

    2019 RAM 1500 Lemon

Should not have to do any of this to a new truck or any vehicle. I have a '16 Ram and like you none of these issues. I plan on holding onto it for a long time as I purchased the Lifetime warranty. I still have not warmed to the front end of the DT. That is another reason for me to keep mine...
