I am obviously not anyone else, but I did buy the entire kit, zero issues, and the brightness of the low and high beams are amazing compared to the *yellowy* dim halogens.
The only lights that suck are the reverse lights, not much difference from the originals.
And in my opinion, the map lights...
Velcro, didn't want to do any drilling. I also used velcro to secure the amp.
I ziptied the cable under the seat leading up to that spot, which is a very easy place to reach.
Added a sub & amp, used a harness from Net Audio that bypasses the ANC, with a LOC wired in. Box is temporary until I can find one that works for a Quad Cab.
Agree 100% about aftermarket speakers, they starve for power, so the end result is usually very *trebley* and underwhelming, unless you add an amp.
Which Kickers did you go with in the rear doors?
Same here, I ordered mine 5 days ago, only confirmation I have gotten so far is a receipt from PayPal confirming it has been paid for.
I always thought PayPal didn't pay up until the item shipped, or something along those lines.
Thanks for the info.
So if I set my new Bilstein's at the 1.7" setting, it would be best to go with the 2" UCA's in the kit?
I realize this is preference, just asking for an opinion.
I am a DIY guy but I am clueless when it comes to suspension etc...
Are these the correct UCA's for a 2" level, or just factory?
I assume if they come with the 2" mopar lift they are different than OEM, just making sure.
But, if you keep it for 5 years +, I wouldn't worry about it.
I thought the same, that's why I chose to go with one of the lesser options, my truck out the door was only 36k, 48k MSRP, and it has all of the features I wanted, if that makes sense.
I would go with the 1500.
I had 2500's for the past 10 years, most recent was 17 with the Cummins, diesel life can be expensive, $120 oil changes, $200 fuel filters, and the vibrations/rough ride gets old.
Resale is awesome though, I had my 17 almost 3 years, and got 40k for it, trading it in...
I have the base 6 speakers, got my bass pegged out, no bass blockers, no reversing polarity, and it sounds amazing cranked up (past 25).
Although I do have the JL C2's, not the Kickers.
