1. A/C performance
2. Wind noise
3. No door unlock on approach with FOB
4. Tilt steering not tilting down as far as it did on 4th gen
5. Seat comfort on long road trips
I myself am waiting on a single sub passenger side sub box for the quad cab.
In the meantime, I am using a JL Audio 10TW3 sub with a Zenclosure box custom built for said sub.
No one ever rides in my back seat, and if they did, very unlikely they'd ride in the middle.
It sounds pretty good, but...
Agree 100% on changing out the dash speakers, I replaced mine day 1 with JL Audio 3.5's, and added a sub and amp.
As for the ANC, I wouldn't hesitate bypassing it if you want better sound via upgrades, you can go the "plug n play" route, so it can always be put back with ease. I did and I can...
The transmission is flawless...says the guy that does all of the engineering changes for the 8HP75 die cast die :).
This is my 4th Ram, never any issues with any of them.
My 17' Ram 2500 Tradesman did not have stereo controls, it had the 5" stereo, I replaced it with the 8.4, and was fixing to add the steering wheel controls (mopar $49), but I decided to trade it in.
So, you can have it added, if you want/need it bad enough.
I didn't do anything to my Ram today, but I am wondering why the *new smell* has vanished after 2k miles.
My 17 Ram 2500 Cummins still smelled new after 2 years /30k.
Anyone else noticed this petty complaint?
Yes on the power wire, and ground for your your amp.
RCA's from LOC, and remote wire, you are done.
I used that exact same harness from Net Audio, worth every penny.
