After a quick online review for possible causes, here's some theories in no particular order:
1) today's glass is thinner to reduce cost, weight and increase fuel economy
2) improved vehicle aerodynamics with less frontal turbulence allows debris to strike with more directed force
3) more...
Maybe you found a good dealer as others report their FCA dealerships claim 60F or 70F (really whatever your truck shows in the maintenance bay) is the expected a/c output vent temperature.
There's no getting around it. Where ever there's off/on-road vehicles, heavy construction, development, big trucks on the roads, trucks hauling dirt/rock, trash trucks and landscapers going to/from solid waste disposal yards, and freeway speeds there's going to be windshield damage assuming you...
As we would expect, a larger frontal surface area increases the chance of windshield damage along with how much traffic on the road. We tend to have multi lane freeways and lots of growth and new development in our territory so lots of semis carrying rocks or heavy off road equipment.
I...
That looks like the same $20 thermometer available on amazon. It claims to be +-2C accurate under 100C and covers -58F to 716F. A few customers mention poor accuracy.
FCA announced they lost $1.8 billion in the first quarter. They are still hoping to complete the merger with France's PSA group but many previous announced merger and acquisition deals are falling apart.
It's not. At least one high volume Ram dealer still has 548 new 1500 Rams on the lot. My local Ram dealer still has huge numbers parked in the surrounding lots and they don't want to get stuck with excess inventory when the economy crashes. FCA has plenty of profit margin and they need to play...
Don't hesitate to correct my recollection....
Nissan's 'Diesel Goodness' campaign could be considered a conjured-up failure. Nissan hired Ram Truck's Fred Diaz who had a hair brained business plan of satisfying a niche need for tweener truck owners - those moving between half and 3/4 ton...
If that was a fleet sale it should've been a good discount. Not sure where blue book is these days but the word is used vehicle values have tanked.
I think FCA's 0%/84mo incentive lapses May 4. I bet better incentives are coming shortly.
It's more significant than you suggest. Not everyone goes online to search or complain about issues or bother to become an online forum member. On the other hand, there's never a shortage of forum member enthusiasts who comb through threads, downplay other's member's issues, rather than skip...
Good point. I forgot about that.
The problem with 0%/84mos and delaying payments is depreciating value while still owing a sizable loan. There's even less trade in opportunity.
It's crazy how these Ram 1500's lose their value. And for that reason it's a good plan to never pay anywhere near...
And I should add. I would only do diesel if I really needed it for towing/hauling. The extra cost, reduced fuel economy, and challenged reliability make it questionable for me.
I'm looking out a couple years still and holding out hope for EV technology. Hope that cybertruck is half of what they...
Not sure what discounts you are seeing today but FCA has been a bit stingy as far as I can tell. Isn't it just the 0% for 84 mos? If so I would wait them out.
