That stinks. It appears to be a manufacturing issue. It's bad enough it happened let alone on a top of the line limited.
No doubt you could've purchased FCA's 3rd party LLC extended warranty from a cheaper source but FCA will always attempt to deny service. I'm in the camp of the body/paint...
You could try a pair of jacks used for slide-in campers or something macgyvered. The latter would be much cheaper.

Something doesn't add up. Why would the dealer and RAM customer care say no? They must have given a reason. Does your production date/VIN fall within the guidelines?
It's always a problem until we see the light. Service sector businesses might flourish in those smaller towns 150-200 miles between major destinations. If so there could be more investment opportunities and places where many might prefer to live versus tax-heavy, crime ridden, and elevator rich...
For me, aside from quality, the most important parts of an EV are the batteries, charging options/network, and automated drive. I think Tesla still has the lead in all areas although GM has closed the automated driving gap.
If one can get passed the appearance, the tri-motor cybertruck's 500+mile range at $69,900 is compelling. Some rumors have the final cybertruck design being a bit softer.
Mine doesn't do it very often but on occasion I get a loud driver's side whistle sound. It only happens on the freeway with strong gusty headwinds. Unfortunately it's another FCA swing/miss this time with poor aerodynamic cabin design with apparently inadequate modeling and road testing.
Yep, Vroom has awful reviews. Even TFL Trucks/Cars wasn't immune to Vroom's shenanigan's. They did a couple of videos on their personal experience and it was eye opening.
I did the same thing and the tech did what he wanted - diagnosed a leaking condenser and recommended its replacement. I was pretty certain it was a BS call since the a/c worked perfectly well with the a/c hack. I assume they had condensers on the shelf they needed to move. Needless to say I let...
The tech should be promptly relieved from duty. No second chances. Even working the oil change bay is too risky. There's no excuse for any service department employing a nimrod like that.
That's exactly what the typical owner experiences at FCA dealerships. We've seen that same experience shared over and over on this forum. Known problems are ignored. The can is kicked in the hopes of warranty expiration.
It's cause and effect. If only there was a little pride and workmanship...
I had mine done and so far it seems to work great. Initially had trouble getting the service advisor to acknowledge the TSB but once they did it was 1 day for the parts to arrive. Initially the tech diagnosed low or leaking freon which could be but I doubt it since the a/c worked well with the...
I had the HVAC TSB applied to mine as well. And so far I can say it's a night/day improvement in cooling. No rattles were noticed after the repair. It took one extra day for the dealer to get the hvac housing kit shipped to the shop.
I should add, the tech wasn't proactive and needed slight...
Sounds like a good idea aside from the time it takes to get a hearing, lawyer fees, and the time for you to get reimbursed. Basically time and lawyers. Lawyer(s) will be needed pre, during, and post and will suck the life out of any reward. And these days with fill-in the blank matters, it's...
